Dreaming about the things that we could be... Sage stood against the back wall of the auditorium waiting for the event in question to begin. Thankfully with the combination of her music playlist and her imagination she was able to keep herself from becoming bored. As she bobbed her head, she glanced around the area noting with interest how people were forming into their own groups. Most of the discussions were of an everyday nature. Questions like; "How are the kids?" or "How is work?" At the back where she stood, she also noticed an exit leading outside. Just beyond those double doors, she could see the infamous grounds of the community center. Behind the massive structure was a garden that would put the Garden of Eden to shame. Just past that was a bridge, and just over it, a pathway that leads to a nature trail. Ever since Sage had moved to Oregon she had wanted to explore that particular area. Unfortunately, with having recently moved, she never seemed to have the time. Close by a few citizens were crowded around a fire pit. In between conversation they were roasting what looked to be marshmallows. Her stomach gurgled as she looked at the burning flames with envy. Having bonfires had always been one of her favorite pastimes. Especially when it included making smores. Right when she was about to walk over there, a petite stranger appeared with a cute wave of her hand. Her hair was a bright pastel pink that reminded Sage of cotton candy at a state fair. The bandages that covered her face and hands caused Sage to worry, momentarily about the poor girl's personal life. Not that she would ask about it... That would be rude. "Hello!" She waved cheerily, an infectious grin spreading over her face. "Why hello there." Sage murmured with a lopsided smile. "My name is Sage Rivera. I just moved into town not too long ago... Over there at Emerald Lofts? What is your name?" Being naturally shy, her line of questioning came out fast and rather clumsy. In her nervousness, she removed her shawl and placed it over her bag. This left her in a pair of faded jeans, a lavender pinstriped crop tank, and her favorite crescent moon necklace. A breeze blowing in from outside ruffled her hair causing the scent of her Nag Champa perfume to permeate the air.
