[color=silver][indent]Indira was born in Lucknow to... well, she doesn't know. Gautam and Jaya Kashyap adopted her and two other orphans before moving over to East London to educate and give their children a new chance at life. Growing up, Indira wanted nothing - not that the family was very rich, but it was enough to keep her satisfied. Gautam was a hard worker and a stricter parent, making sure to raise his children to be hard working and smart. Despite that, Indira's interests never remained in her studies.

In fact, Indira knew her passion lied in documenting her travels. Her family often took vacations, which Indira would post pictures on Instagram in hopes that her passion for travel photography would be picked up through there. Instead, Indira noticed that pictures that had her in them gained more likes and garnered more interest than any picture of a colourful building. 

Her time on social media changed Indira for the worst. Her fixation on the negative comments - particularly about her lips - forced Indira to change herself to please her audience. At 15 she lost a lot of weight, 16 she revamped her closet and 18 she got lip fillers. She became superficial to old friends, and too high maintenance for new ones. She was alone in London.

So, Indie set her sights on the US. Studying abroad would boost her social standing, right? Why not try [i]just a little[/i] harder in school to obtain a scholarship into the most prestegious university? Gautam was understandably hurt to see his (other) little girl accept placement so far away, but empty promises to work hard from Indie placated the worried father.

Moving to the US allowed Indie to get more independence. She partied more than visited the library. Her Instagram following grew significantly with more... provocative pictures. And now, in her final year of studying Media Studies, Indie has realised she's not ready to head home just yet.[/indent][/color]
