Once Shock took control of her brothers, everything quickly settled down and everyone got back to work. Lillith put her nail file away and continued as she had been doing. Carmilla put extra effort into balancing her singing and her playing, as she wanted to stay on Lock's good side. Without any drama to distract [read: entertain] her, Carver decided to see about replacing impossible notes with improvisations that would still sound good in their place, rather than just trying to get as close as she could and end up with something that felt like a sour note. Even Barrel seemed to be mostly on-target; Lock may have been in charge of the band, but his younger brother's chaotic enthusiasm could only really be curbed when he had the fear of Shock in him. All in all, things went relatively smoothly for the rest of practice.
