[indent][indent][color=708090]Millenia ago, before the age of man, the Zeo Crystal of Earth was under the protection of the original Power Rangers: Zordon and his team. However, they were betrayed by the Green Ranger, Rita Repulsa. Intending to take over the universe, Rita stabbed her team in the back, leaving only Zordon alive. Having to think and act quickly, Zordon hid the Power Coins that gave the Rangers their powers, and ordered Alpha-5, his robotic assistant,  to rain fire on the planet.

The desperate move worked, sending Rita barreling to the bottom of the ocean, though at a great cost. The meteor strike triggered an extinction level event, bringing an end to the era of dinosaurs and Zordon himself. The Power Rangers, the Power Coins, and yes, even Alpha-5 were lost to the sands of time.

Now, there are brief rumblings of power throughout the Earth, dismissed as earthquakes by the humans. Alpha-5, however, knows better. Rita Repulsa is regaining her strength sixty million years later. The planet needs their Power Rangers, now more than ever.

Even though they don’t know it yet, five teenagers are being called to by the Power Coins and the Morphing Grid… Will they heed the call before it’s too late?[/color][/indent][/indent]

[indent]Look, I know that’s not my best work, but it’s a Power Rangers RP. If you clicked this… you knew what you were getting into already. This will follow the trajectory of the most recent film, with the teens being in detention and eventually finding the coins, and Zordon’s ship through the Angel Grove mine. This RP will borrow elements mostly from the movie and the BOOM! comics (please don’t spoil Shattered Grid, I haven’t finished it yet).

I am mostly looking to play the Green Ranger, as a heel at first with an eventual face turn. However, I don’t think this will be the first angle, which means! I will likely need a different color at first. I’m leaning toward Yellow/Pink, since I don’t want to take Red [i]and[/i] Green/White. That leaves Red up for grabs, if anyone wants to take it. I'll take Red Ranger if no one else is willing, but it's not necessary for me to have it, I think I can guide the story without playing the leader!

Remember, if you’re applying for the Red Ranger, you’ll have more responsibility and pressure than the other characters. The Red Helmet is heavier, and this will be no different. In total, I’m looking for about 3, or 4 other interested parties, maybe 5, though I’m not sure how that would work.
