[indent]Born in Detroit, Michigan - Alec Sloane had a rather rough upbringing at first. He didn't get to know his father for most of his life considering he was killed in a shooting when Alec was very young. As a result, his mother was the one to take care of him and his two siblings. It was rough, to say the least, and one that was about the farthest from being smooth as it could be. It was a turbulent childhood for the most part.

It wasn't until he was in high school when things started to turn around. In an effort to keep Alec out of trouble, his mother made him join the football team. Yes, it might've been a dangerous sport but it was far better than hanging out in the dangerous streets of where they lived. However, unlike most football movies and TV shows, the football coach wasn't exactly a father figure. As a matter of fact, he was an absolute asshole to Alec, considering he was always in the shadow of his older brother who was a stud. He took more of a liking to his track coach, who saw things in Alec and believed in him when nobody else did. That belief, as well as a whole lot of blood, sweat, and tears had lead him to land a scholarship to Woodford, leading him to where he is today.[/indent]
