Well not posting isn't gonna get her acknowledge now is it? :P And I mean, you gotta interact with people too. I respond to everyone that acknowledges my character, or tries to. Kouko can be in the restaurant enjoying dinner, maybe try chatting to the Princess or something. There's lots of options in the village and plenty of interacting opportunities.
