She moved quickly and snapped whatever lock was on it, pulling the door off with a fluff of her wings. "There. They're free." She rumbled, her eyes flexed to red in anger. Seeing these creatures caged up caused memories to flood back, memories she thought she didn't have. Memories of cage bars and people in white coats. Small etches of smoke pillowed from the edges of her mouth. "I refuse to have any more creatures stuck in cages."
