Connor laughed, "Okay" He said. When they had finished their food, and were ready to head back, he drove back to the school, parking, and reminding himself again to look at the car completely. He would probably forget again.

"Anyway" Kalinda said, "Enough sadness and downing emotions" She smiled, finishing eating. "Its been a good night. Better than staying in my dorm room. I should head back to the campus. Hey, don't let your parents get to you, you are pretty awesome" She said, quickly heading out, before Matt could stop her, and launching herself into the air. She could easily be back quickly like this, and that way, Matt wouldn't be forced to prance to the school with her, and back to his apartment. 

Plus, she wanted time to think. She shouldn't have mentioned the puppy. Now she was sad for the memory of a beagle pup she had fought so hard to try and get, only to fail. 

She landed just outside the girls dorms, and headed into her room.
