I'll wait on Hedge, but I'm leaning more towards no. 

Not because it isn't a great idea - it is. It's amazing, actually. 

But going from the last bit, depending on what sort of death he uses for fuel, he can sort of use any power? Death by fire would be a fire attack, so on, so forth?
