Into the night Sammual was awoken to something bashing, "Hmm what?" As he looks it looks like his entire tree is shaking. He becomes startled as he sees the rocks get slammed and shakes the tree. He screams out in fear jutting him awake and makes him begin looking around finding himself in the equivalent of a self imposed coffin. He begins to Think the thickness of the tree will give him safety against most things if this thing had good strength and any smarts it could easily throw that rock away and get inside. So as it bashes it buys Sammual time to look and begin to activate and aim his arm. He begins to wait and watch the stone slowly breaking as the arm-gun lets off light that shows him charging. 

Once the ball of electricity fully forms all Sammual did was wait and wait he did as it took another 30 seconds before the rock broke and showed a large gorilla like creature It had 8 eyes and a mouth full of large crooked teeth as it roared Sammual fired his arm-gun right at its face trying to stick in, as he did it landed clean in half of its eyes as it fell backwards and started to scream out in pain as Sammual got out and began to run off towards the ship. 'Fuck it at least there it seems to be infested by insects that can be out ran and outsmarted here these creatures are too big to try and deal with'.

As he ran at full speed right back towards the ship. A fuck it attitude has set in, he had this shitty airgun and his only good weapon was already used and he had to run back to the place he just escaped because it is safer than being out here. He knew exactly where the ship was and did have a decent idea of where he was going, with the flash light giving away where he was, but it did allow him to traverse the roots well enough to get to the ship without the worry of falling and tripping. He just had to hope he didn't get caught in anything nasty before he got there.
