Niah doubted she could carry him through the portal and resisted glaring at Runa who was struggling to keep the portal open. 

The kid who opened a second portal didn't look strong enough to carry Kingston through either. She was getting very frustrated. Between the uncertainty of what was happening and not being able to think through the situation as much as she would like she wished she had some sort of offensive power just to unleash some of that pent up frustration.
