[hider=personality]Raised in a high class family in the city of Tokyo made Rui Mochizuki into the person he is today; a refined young man who keeps all foul speech to himself. He always treats every living being - whether human, animal or demon - with respect, regardless of how he feels about them. Rui tends to only speak when the right moment presents itself. Due to his quiet nature, the boy often ends up as the outcast of the group, his presence easily forgotten. Still, he holds a lot of value for the team due to his knack for coming up with a plan on the spot.

As calm and collected he may appear on first sight, Rui is quite the opposite; the poor guy is in a never ending state of uneasiness, the mere sight of the rustling of a leaf may already get his heart rate up, his enhanced sense of sight not helping one bit to calm him down. His hypersensitivity has already caused him many sleepless nights. Generally the young demon slayer can be seen with dark eye bags as a result. He gets through the day by drinking tea pretty much all day long, the large amount of caffeine he consumes only keeping the circle going.

His enhanced sense of sight is responsible for yet another obstacle; his germophobia, a fear for germs and contamination. Being able to see even microorganisms has had a huge impact on his life. As such, he tends to stay at a distance from other people and refuses to shake hands without his gloves on. Rui is always prepared to clean whatever contamination he lays eyes on, often distracting him from the mission at hand.[/hider][/i][/color][/list][/list][/list]

This however was something he only learned of at the age of twelve, after having lived with a high class family in Tokyo for as long as he could remember. After learning about his true heritage, Rui reclaimed his original surname and began his search for his long lost family.

While his enhanced sight has come with many difficulties, it also provides him a lot of advantages during battle. 
His enhanced sight allows him to see both extremely far and extremely near. It also makes him capable of seeing microscopic details invisible to the normal human eye. In battle, he is able to predict his opponent's movements as soon as they prepare their attack, by observing the most minuscule changes of their body.

[b]Breath style: Breath of Moon[/b]
A breath style unique to the Mochizuki clan. Its users are known to have increased strength during nighttime. The breath style is related to, but not an extension of the Breath of Water breath style.

First Style: [b]Dawn of Crescent[/b] - A basic attack in which the user rapidly charges the enemy and slashes.

Second Style: [b]Night Light[/b] - Casts a flash of light that briefly blinds the enemy.

Third Style: [b]Penumbra Descent[/b] - The user charges from above, delivering a vertical blow to the enemy.

Fourth Style: [b]Moonlight Lullaby[/b] - A passive style activated by humming a very specific set of notes. The Nichirin blade amplifies these notes, creating a sleep inducing sound.

Fifth Style: [b]Howling Moon[/b] - The user launches a storm of rapid slashes onto the enemy. Usable from a distance up to five meters.

Sixth Style: [b]Lunar Eclipse[/b] - Allows the user to become invisible by holding their breath. Only usable at night while holding on to the Nichirin blade.[/hider][/i][/color][/list][/list][/list]
