In order for this to work, something more or less has to be there in the first place. The user can make a sound feel louder, a touch feel like it burns, or a park bench grow teeth and start viciously snapping, but can't make them perceive something that has no basis in reality. No physical change is made to the object, only the subject's perception of it. Note that harm cannot be done through making hot sand on a beach look and feel like lava, though making lava look like honey will obviously cause harm to the one hallucinating if they decide to go eat some. Direct mind control is NOT achievable through this, the subject is still free to react in a characteristic manner.

Mikhael is an aspiring comedian and magician who is overall charming and full of a vicious wit. He's driven onwards by his desire to be recognised by his peers, but is held back by his nearly severe alcoholism. He's a "half a bottle of whiskey with my cereal to cure the hangover" kind of guy.
He is one of those people who already have a low self-control, and it becomes even lower when he's drunk, which is more frequent than not. Verbally, there is a very small amount of filtering that goes on. Luckily for him, most of what he says gets more laughs than sneers. Most.

[b][color=gold]History/Bio:[/color][/b]
Born in Minsk to a well off family, and raised like a pet. He had no autonomy allowed by his parents, which was further worsened by the extremely authoritarian government. The combination of the two caused him to move abroad at age 19. He was something of a globetrotter from then until after his 21st. During this time, he developed skills of performing in the hopes of earning quick cash, but he earned something far greater: a passion. Not only did he enjoy misdirecting the eye, but he had a natural - or rather, supernatural - talent for it.

He wound up in New York, where he found himself staying despite his plans. Performances were becoming more frequent, and he took up a job as a laborer to make ends meet. Unfortunately, at one of his shows he upset an executive with a jape, and he saw a massive reduction in his performances. This launched him into a spiral he still has not got himself out of. 

Perhaps one of the members of the guild sensed it on him in a performance, perhaps they're brilliant at tracking, and perhaps he knows someone in it. Who knows. What is known is that he was contacted and recruited, and his life was changed. He's still unsure if he'd say for the better or worse, but it's for the better.[/hider]
