His name long forgotten, or perhaps purposely erased, The President was the man who lead the founding of the Commonwealth and established a new order, the man who rediscovered civilization when it was lost in the fires of war. For twenty years he ruled as the overseeing authority with the advisement of the ever changing Superior Council. Men and women who were given political say and representation of the majority through democratic voting. But six months ago, this twenty year cycle would all change when the current representing council members attempted a coup de’etat and succeeded in forcing the President from power and exiled him to the post-war ruins outside of Seattle limits. The Superior Council succeeded in this by hijacking the cyborg army used as the cities’ defense force and also gained the loyalty of many lesser officials among the Enforcer Police via quid pro quo promises. Since his initial exile and the usurpation of power by the Council, The President renamed himself “Rogue” and has amassed an army of loyalists, convicts, and dissidents. Forming his own rebel army, “The Underground”, Rogue has began warring with the new regime. The ruins of pre-war Seattle have become the battleground of a new chapter of strife with Rogue leading the charge. Rogue will not rest until the Superior Council has been wiped out and his authority and rightful rule restored. ECHO (DANON HARPER) ”....” Danon Harper was among the first to raise his fist against the Superior Council and follow Rogue into the ruins of outer Seattle. A former Enforcer of ten years until discharge, due to excess brutality, Rogue saw Danon as a viable asset. Aside from exceptional combat skill and being a superb pilot, Danon also possesses fine leadership skills, and can drive men to go above and beyond their abilities. Danon would become “Echo” the day of the crash. A skirmish had broken out with a unit of cyborgs at an old stadium complex. Danon was providing air support and aerial command both aboard his gunship. However, a cyborg Culler damaged Danon’s ship severely and forced him to crash land. The crash was severe and Danon was severely burned, and barely recovered. His lungs, vocal chords, and eyes were all severely damaged beyond healing. Danon was repaired thanks to advanced cybernetics, though he could no longer speak, breath, nor see on his own. Optical implants allow him vision superior to his former, though his lungs must rely on a respirator to keep him alive. Despite best attempts at repair nothing could be done to repair Danon’s speech, and he was ultimately rendered mute. Rogue renamed him “Echo”, stating he is but an echo of what he was. Echo, silent and hollow, now acts primarily as combat support and as an infiltrator into Seattle limits. PASHTO (NEYLA AHAD) ”Hearts and minds are the way to win a war.” Neyla Ahad, or “Pashto”, is a skilled infiltrator and phenomenal sniper recruited by Rogue in the early days of his insurrection. Born outside of the Commonwealth to survivalist parents, she grew up among the rugged bands of nomads and survivors who roamed the old world ruins surrounding the city. She and many others like her were recruited into Rogue’s Underground, with promises of assured citizenship and a better life once New Seattle was retaken. Cunning, silent, and lethal, Pashto has proven an invaluable recruit into The Underground. She is also in charge of information warfare and anti-Council propaganda. And she also serves as an emissary to other roving nomadic hands in the wastes when Rogue requires more recruits or additional aid.

WIP.

The term “cyborgs” is typical used in reference to those who have undergone extensive cybernetic and bionic implants and modifications. Technically, cyborgs are heavily modified biological forms lacking in conscious or human awareness, and are solely used a military-defensive units by the Commonwealth. Honestly, the lacking of humanity is the real definer. Decades ago, prior to the chain of nuclear conflicts that devesatated the world, advanced cybernetics was an innovation that had long come to fruition, and many superpowers across the world had prototype cyborg units that were deployed in battle. NSC COMBAT CYBORG When the Commonwealth was established and had been rapidly growing for several years, scientists with The Presidents’ approval salvaged blueprints and data caches from old world military labs and began to build a cyborg army for the Commonwealth. Once the designs were perfected that is. Imaginably, “volunteers” were virtually non-exsistent. Because of this, a capital punishment in the Commonwealth was to be forged into a cyborg. Shipments of quivering convicts inbound to cybernetics labs were a regular happening through the years. Since the Council’s seizure of power, they have begun mass capturing wastelanders and nomads in addition to forcing convicts to become cyborgs. This of course has stirred up massive resentment among the nomadics in the region.
