She was constantly in detention, she was barely passing high school, and everyone knew about her partying habits. Videos of her circulated on YouTube, eyes dull and words slurred. The most infamous one being when she stood on top of a table, stripped her shirt off, and chugged vodka until she barfed on the high school team’s quarterback. Not many people personally liked Genesis; she burned bridges that she barely even formed and was quick to belittle others. In general, her classmates and teachers didn’t hold any expectations for Genesis to make a name for herself – or even make anything worthwhile in her life.

Unlike the class clowns, Genesis never landed in detention on purpose or because she was causing a ruckus. She was never one to be snide with a teacher or quick-tempered with a classmate. For the most part, the girl spent her time by the window whispering with her friends and botching her class assignments. The screechy tone of her teachers admonishing her for intoxication was a familiar sound to her and usually accompanied a slip sending her to the office.

The principal sometimes suspended her, sometimes sent her to detention, but never expelled her – he took a liking to Genesis, or maybe he thought of her as a pet project, as he always tried to steer her towards the straight and narrow. Even with his help, Genesis got through high school by the skin of her teeth.[/color][/indent][sup][color=#2e2c2c]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/color][/sup][/cell][/row][/table][table][row][/row][row][cell][color=#2e2c2c]▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔[/color][h3][sup][color=000000]power[/color][/sup][/h3][indent][color=dcdcdc]The power of imagination is a creative force that is unstoppable against adversaries; no one can stop a child from playing pretend or a teenager from daydreaming. A child’s imagination is especially potent; they conjure creatures and beings in their head with personalities and powers beyond an adult’s thinking. Genesis almost seems to have an empathic imagination – except, she has a bit of a kick behind her empathy. Like a child, Genesis can conjure a being from imagination, but a tad more literal this time. She cannot conjure anything from her own imagination. However, she can give life to another’s making. Only, no one else can see or interact with them – they become a living force of creativity, a literal imaginary friend. 

The only way these imaginary friends can interact with the corporeal world is through a symbiotic relationship with Genesis. She allows their spirit to inhabit her body, channeling their powers through her, and in exchange for access to their abilities, Genesis must offer them something in return. The debt manifests in different ways dependent on the imaginary friend’s predisposition. Sometimes the only thing they want is to taste cake, and other times their price is unmeetable or, even, nonexistent.

Unfortunately, Genesis has no power over which thought form she conjures, only capable of controlling her interaction with them. It is possible for her to bring to life a dark imaginary friend that refuses repayment or demands blood. She also might bring to life a completely harmless, borderline useless, imaginary friend. Genesis cannot rid herself of these beings unless through outside forces dispersing them or by the original creator's will.

Years after, Genesis is still an asocial person who tends to bring out the worst in people. Her default mode is hostile; being mean, making others feel unpleasant just by being in her company, it’s how she interacts with the world. She would rather scare people off at the get-go than have to deal with them later on. Socializing has never been her idea of fun, she avoids it like the plague. When she is socializing, she acts aloof with only cynical tidbits. Distant from others, Genesis will watch from the back of the crowd and rarely acknowledge anyone’s existence unless she absolutely needs to. Genesis is aloof, but not the cool and collected kind. Just the bitchy kind with the cynicism added on. Behaving the way she does, Genesis has developed a thick-skin and any insult just bounces off of her without a reaction.

If you do manage to get more than a word out of her, you’ll see that she’s a bitter type of person. Her tongue is razor sharp and she lashes everyone she talks to with acerbic sarcasm and quick-witted remarks. Naturally a skeptic, Genesis is a hard person to conversate with. The typical truth-stretches that happen in stories will be called out by her and she’s not the type to listen to nonsense. She can give it and she can take it, but when it comes to people’s actions she can have a hot temper. You can call her whatever you want, but if you vandalize her stuff or wrong her in anyway, she’ll be up in a second asking for a fight. 

People grow, though. While these things haven’t change about her, Genesis has grown since high school. Her personality hit a growth spurt after she left Delton; all the positive parts of her bloomed. To see the positive sides of her, you have to look at her actions rather than her words. Honesty has always been her best policy. Not a single bone in her body is duplicitous and what she does is always genuine in nature. At her core, Genesis is a rather compassionate woman. She doesn’t like to show it, but she sympathizes with people – especially those that can’t help themselves or those around them. In time of trouble, you can rely on her and she’ll be there. That’s what she loves to do, is be there for people. The type of friend that picks you up two hours from home in the dead of night or helps a stranger with their load of groceries. There is a need to be a caretaker in her – she wants to help people, take care of them, and protect them.

With her upgraded self, there comes a few bugs. After being a fuck up for most of her life, Genesis is hyper critical of everything she does and doesn’t do because she doesn’t want to let anyone down ever again. Her self-criticism is detrimental to her self-confidence and she rarely thinks highly of herself or thinks she did well.
