At the top of their ranks were the S Class Heroes. Individuals who possessed abilities and accomplishments that went beyond human limits. Criminals, monsters, the supernatural, or extraterrestrial, it didn't matter; Earth's mightiest heroes faced them head on and managed to pull through, always coming out victorious. This all held true until the Seven Days of Destruction. As corny of a name it was given, it described the events that had taken place quite accurately. It was a disaster-filled week that came out of nowhere. Without warning, a flurry of floods, blizzards, thunderstorms, wildfire, earthquakes, and tsunamis, ravaged the entire world. And on the last day, a shower of meteors came crashing down to earth. Once the seas had calmed, skies cleared, and the rubble settled, what was left was but a fraction of the world. A large population of the world's population had perished and those who had survived, were scattered and separated by the vast seas. No longer was there a super continent that occupied over sixty percent of the Earth. Instead, only chains of islands remained. Making most of what they had, humanity tried their best to recover, but along with this troublesome time, were new waves of villains who saw this as an opportunity to ravage the world like never before. With the hero association still in ruins, the world was left lawless and mankind unprotected, leaving them with no choice but to fend for themselves as best they can. Each island began separating themselves from the rest of the world, causing the ties between humanity to slowly grew weaker. Most of those who were fortunate during this period of rebuilding chose to keep to their own domains for mistrust and fear of traveling on the ocean; stories of sea monsters and pillaging pirates did little to help this. If one would think that without an organization to protect and govern over the seas, mysterious beings, crimes and, other unlawful acts would send the world into a complete state of pandemonium ruled by the unjust, they would be right. If one would think that without an organization to protect and govern over the seas, crimes and other unlawful acts would send the world into a complete state of pandemonium ruled by pirates, they would be right. Yet silently in the shadows, was the reformation of the Hero Association under the leadership of the former hero, Zombieman. Throughout the years, he has amassed a significant amount of wealth, and with his name and reputation alone, provided enough influence, rallying many to their cause. The Hero Association now stands in the far eastern waters as the world’s last bastion of Justice. Now 20 years into the future, you find yourself within the ranks of the Hero Association, members now range from former vigilantes, reformed criminals, mercenaries, and other individuals from all walks of life who have banded together to achieve one common goal; to prevent the world from plunging into complete chaos. Your role in this story is to play a freshly enlisted recruit, a C Rank Hero, who will eventually rise through the ranks of the organization. Hopefully, you would be able to contribute to the restoration of peace throughout the seas or at least make a name for yourself in the process.
