[indent]Yukimura is a soft spoken boy who tries his best to be inoffensive. He’s the type to wait his turn to speak and never talks over anyone if he can help it. He finds it difficult to assert himself against hostile people and prefers to just remove himself from a conflict. He’s the type to try and quietly encourage others to do their best, and is reluctant to accept praise personally.

Yukimura is filled with a burning desire to be a hero, although not necessarily out of some great sense of justice, but out of a desire to do something that will help him escape his life circumstances. The idea of not achieving that much is unbearable.[/indent]

[indent]Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Yukimura is the son of a widowed billionaire named Masayuki. His earliest years were spent as a spoiled rotten young child that was waited on hand and foot by a household of servants. His quirk changed all of that. It manifested rather suddenly when he was being bathed by a maid, whose contact with his now freezing body caused much of her to frost over, almost causing her to die from shock. Masayuki paid the maid of to assure her secrecy, and proceeded to bundle his son away where he could never cause such an incident again, fearing what would happen if his son developed a reputation.

While his father’s measures were very effective at making sure Yukimura never harmed anyone again, he became utterly miserable in his isolation, lamenting the fact that the only person he regularly spoke to was his father. He began searching on the internet for ways to escape his prison. It seemed that a lot of jobs were out of the question as they would no doubt be better performed by someone not sealed in a tight fur coat to prevent their quirk from activating, and when he inevitably explained himself they would no doubt be bothered by it. But one career path spoke to him; heroism. He would be expected to hurt certain people doing it, and the schools had the capacity to support people with his condition. When he broached the idea to his father, he was immediately resistant, but Yukimura won him around with his insistence. Masayuki allowed him to prepare, but under the condition that he would be deathly careful to avoid causing an incident.

For some years Yukimura prepared himself. His quirk made training difficult, but he was confident he had come up with an effective strategy to get him a place in a hero school. He would arrive on the day of the UA entrance exam full of confidence, expecting to succeed. He would never find out if he would have, as after dispatching one of the robots during the exam, he made the mistake of giving another student a high five with his glove off. The other boy, finding his hand frozen, interpreted this as an attack, and “fought back” against Yukimura. Their “fight” ended up being broken up, and both were disqualified for fighting during the exam. Yukimura had hoped it would end there, but it turned out his “rival” was more vindictive than he would have imagined. Somehow, his family dug up Yukimura’s incident with the maid and smeared his reputation to every school they could find. Now they were of the opinion Yukimura was a problem waiting to happen and refused him entry.

LOSER ended up being the only place that would take him, and so in desperation Yukimura went there.[/indent]

[indent]Miwa is neurotic, to say the least. First and foremost she is a clean freak that hates being anywhere too dirty. She has a compulsion to keep things clean, and will go out of her way to clean things herself if she feels she must. If someone has a reputation for being filthy, she will do her best to avoid them. The threat of germs of sickness bothers her greatly, and merely having it mentioned will revile her.

To make things worse, Miwa is quite a bitter and irritable individual. She doesn’t like being told she’s wrong, or that she shouldn’t worry about this or that. She will petulantly disagree within anyone that tells her otherwise, and will threaten them with a taste of her whips if they decide to be particularly rude about it. In fact, she rather [i]enjoys[/i] getting the chance to whip people, even if she won’t do it to people without provocation. She just seems to take a certain pleasure in the act.

But it’s not all neurotic hostility with Miwa. A Miwa sitting in a clean room that’s not being told how wrong she is or otherwise being offended is a civil and even polite Miwa. She will be more than happy to just chat normally and tell you about her many cultured hobbies, and maybe hear you out about yours. Just don’t expect it to last if you say or do something she doesn’t like, because then it could be over in a flash.[/indent]

Miwa is the daughter of Saeko and Akito Hayakawa, a well-to-do couple with a place in high society. As a young girl, Miwa once got horribly sick, and the doctors informed the family that it came from a bacterial infection. Saeko’s investigation found that a butler had not been doing his cleaning properly. The man was fired, but the damage to Miwa had been done. She now refused to have anyone clean for her, and instead furiously scrubbed everything she felt necessary. Her parents often clashed with her neurotic behaviour, and her early childhood was fraught with fights.

That’s why it was all the more bitter when they suddenly adopted another girl. Some “Yasu” girl that they had decided to lift out of the gutter and place in the lap of luxury. From the start, Miwa was worried she would bring disease into the house, and even if she wasn’t that filthy her mouth certainly was. To make it all the more worse, her quirk wasn’t entirely dissimilar to her own. It was like Miwa was being replaced. This only served to make her more irritable and competitive, determined not to let her nasty new sibling outshine her.

Whilst attending Nosaka High, the school her parents had gone to in their youth, her vile sister was convinced by Aiko Katsuyama to train to become a pro-hero. Miwa’s mind decided the only way to one up her sister was to be a hero too. She would be a better and more graceful hero than that little usurper could ever be. But when the time finally came for her to make her triumphant entrance into UA, the filthy nature of the exam grounds kept Miwa from being able to perform. Shamed greatly by her failure, Miwa would have given up had it not been for her burning desire not to go forgotten. 

As much as it filled her with disgust to do so, Miwa applied to LOSER, desperate to succeed.

[indent][b]Short Quirk explanation:[/b] Cat O’ Eighteen Tails: Miwa has two Cat O’ Nine Tails style whips made of rubber that serve as her hands.

About halfway down her forearm is where her flesh changes to rubber. From there, a thick, quarter of a meter stalk of rubber serves as part of her arm, splitting off at the end into nine meter long strips that serve as the “whip” part of her limbs.[/indent]
