Station (G6) Skills: Radio Wave Manipulation, Bribery, Perception

Waverley let out a sigh when Colossus seemed to brush off her hesitation, taking it as a sign that there wasn’t anyway she was getting out of this training exercise. Her shoulders dropped, and her face turned from one of concern to one of mostly concern with a hint of analysis. Without really any offensive experience or power capabilities, fighting harder was out of the question. So maybe she could fight smarter. She turned her head to her right to see what the others were doing. Most of them seemed to be doing what she was doing: trying to figure out a way passed the giant metal man in front of them. But among the group, one stepped forward over the rope: a stylishly dressed, raven-haired young woman in what could only be described as some sort of flannel hoody dress. Her steps were accompanied by the sound of heels clicking upon the ground, not at all faltering or wavering. Waverley’s gaze followed her forward, intently watching her as she stopped and raised her hands. When the floor began to freeze over, Waverley’s eyes nearly popped out of their sockets, and a wide goofy grin took residence on her face. She was sure the woman would get to the bell, though that certainty dropped slightly when Colossus didn’t slip on the ice. When the woman attempted to slide between Colossus’ legs, but was instead tossed back to the edge of her ice, Waverley’s grin fell into a still somewhat impressed half smile. “For what it’s worth, you looked really cool!” She called out to the woman with her hand cupped next to her mouth, the pun not at all intended. Almost immediately after her comment, she heard a voice begin to speak a few yards away. She turned to the voice, to see it was coming from what she assumed some would consider an attractive young man on the far side of the rope. His voice was lowered, but not so much so that she couldn’t hear him describe his plan. Waverley’s brow furrowed, and she shook her head. “Haven’t you seen Kill Bill? Or any martial arts movie? It doesn’t matter if we have the numbers. He’s Uma Thurman, we’re the nameless grunts,” she whispered, loud enough for the small group behind the rope to hear. Her eyes flicked between the man who spoke, the long-haired guy next to him, and the woman closest to Waverley, who kind of looked like Veronica Mars raided Joan Jett’s closet. Her eyes ended, though, on Negasonic, leaning against the wall. “Hold on...I might have a better idea...” she said, her fingers rising up to her temples. It didn’t actually help her powers to do that, but it always made her feel cool. Her eyes narrowed, focusing on some fixed point across the room. She looked completely focused, preparing for something big. ‘Can you pwease ring the bell? I’ll give you $5 UwU,’ she sent out Negasonic’s phone. She shot a glance at the girl to see her reaction, and let out a disappointed sigh when the girl shook her head. She turned back to to the man with the plan and shrugged. “Alright, I’m in for Operation Cannon Fodder, but I’m not attacking him. While you guys are going at him, I’ll see if I can get behind him and ring the bell,” Waverley said quietly, her eyes shooting from the pillar next to them to the pillar across from them, and finally to the pillar behind Colossus. If he was distracted, she might be able to run from one pillar to the next, hopefully without getting noticed.
