Ayesha's early days at the academy were... bewildering, to say at the very least. First, she had to arrive at the city nearby first. And the sight nearly made her think that she had stepped into a different world entirely. All the futuristic technology and construction there were something she had never seen or even imagined before. It was as if she had arrived in an alien world, detached entirely from the human world she had been a part with. She had many, many troubles traversing the city and utilizing the technologies within. She didn't know how to get her train tickets, as there were none of the usual booths she could purchase them from. Instead, she had to purchase them from these weird machines put on the train station. It was certainly an embarrassing experience, as she had to ask a nearby officer for his help on the matter. Not to mention that she had to ask the same officer on how she had to go through the doors to the platform later on. She couldn't even use the cards she had purchased properly. There was no doubt whatsoever in her mind that he must have known she had come from the boonies. And that was still not counting the attention she garnered with Adamas on her side. With how big the golem was, even at its smallest size, it certainly caught the attention, and wariness, of bystanders. And with how the city was built, with not many space to move around, the poor thing had to always be careful where it stepped, lest it could cause damage, something Ayesha certainly did not want. "It's okay, we'll soon leave this place, Adamas, so just bear with it, okay?" she comforted the gloomy construct. Thankfully, when she arrived at the academy grounds proper, the environment returned to a familiar one, as the place was surrounded by nature and it was nowhere near as futuristic as the city. She immediately felt relaxed as a result. She even had the urge of constructing her own tree house on the wilderness around the academy that she experienced on her bus ride to the location, forgoing the comfort of her own dorm room. But of course, she realized such a thing would most likely not be allowed by the academy. Not to mention the fact that it would make going to classes difficult, even with the lax attitude of the academy towards scheduling. Unfortunately however, that familiarity and comfort did not last long in the slightest. She soon discovered how the students there had to frequently fight against each other using their constructs, lest they would be expelled. It was a difficult revelation for her, as she was never fond of fighting, especially against other people. And with Adamas following her around, she certainly attracted the eyes of many of the other students. It didn't take long until she received challenges for a fight. However, she rejected all of them, not really desiring in participating in any fights, if she could help it. She knew eventually she would have to enter some, if she wanted to keep her spot here, but she just entered. No need to rush, or so she told herself. However, one day, she got into her first scrape with another construct. The construct had decided to rampage all over the academy grounds, chasing one particular student. He had his own construct, but that construct was hopelessly outmatched against the rampaging construct. It was pure happenstance that Ayesha walked into the scene. She was just finished with one class and was about to walk to another. I can't just let him be like that! I have to help him!, she thought in her mind. "Adamas, subdue that rampaging construct!" she ordered with confidence, pointing towards the big wolf-like creature.
