You'll probably find more original slice of life or fantasy roleplays here. Scifi (original and/or fandom) has drought spells from what I've seen.

Seeing as you're starting to get into drawing, I'd suggest checking out the gallery and making a thread there if you have a way to upload and show off your art. RPG has its own image uploading system (images are uploaded through your profile) if you don't prefer to use imgur or whatever image hosting site is out there.
