[indent]Hikune suffers from generalized and social anxiety disorder, causing her to experience excessive worry in many aspects of her life. She is very quiet around strangers. This unfortunately often makes people perceive her as distant or unfeeling, but she’s really just trying not to embarrass herself. This unfortunately also extends to her confidence in Quirk use, which is the main factor preventing her from excelling as a hero.

Hikune is a smart young lady, especially advanced in math which is meant to be helpful for safer Quirk use, but she often doubts her own results regardless of how often she gets it correct. These doubts can lead to a panic attack, which further hinders her ability to succeed. Failure makes her doubt herself even more, which completes the vicious loop of self-destructive anxiety. She desperately needs people willing to build her up out of this loop so that she can truly succeed in her dreams.

However those that are patient enough to help her come out of her shell will find that she is quite a kind and fun-loving girl, who is actually shockingly extroverted when surrounded by the right people. As a consequence, she can become quite clingy and reliant on people she is used to and will use them as a sort of social medium in difficult situations. However, she is fiercely loyal to them all the same and makes a very reliable and selfless friend.[/indent]

[color=#7733aa][b]HISTORY[/b][/color]
[indent]Hikune was born to a low income couple who struggled to make ends meet after her birth. While it was never said or implied to her, Hikune grew to think that the financial situation they faced as a family was all her fault. As to avoid becoming a further burden to her hard working parents, Hikune became withdrawn and focused mostly on her studies.

When her quirk manifested it became a main factor in her troubles with anxiety. With a mother who could only change the color of her eyes, and a quirkless father, there was no one in her family with a quirk even remotely similar. With no guidance to learn how to control such a dangerous quirk, she became worried that one day she would eventually make a lethal mistake and decided to never use it. She also possessed her mother's quirk which was once subconsciously used at the slightest mood swing, but after teasing from her peers that too was eventually repressed.

Quiet, reserved, studious Hikune never made a lot of friends. The exception being a small circle she met in mandatory club activities. [i]Manga club.[/i]

However she excelled as a student and was among the top percentage of test scores nation-wide, and had a bright future ahead of her no matter what career she had chosen. Her ultimate goal was to provide the financial support her family always needed. Unfortunately, she was quite aimless on exactly where she wanted to go after school. That was until a close encounter with a pro hero, who saved her from danger and showed her that even Quirks that are potentially self-harming can be used to great effect. From that point on, all of her efforts went into learning how to control her Quirk the best way she knew how, with math. She had a dream now, a career to pursue, a purpose. Her Quirk could be mastered, and she would do it so that she could help people as she had been helped.[/indent]

[indent]Jirou was the second born son to an average household. Like a lot of kids, he saw the glamour of Heroism and dreamed of one day becoming one. But when his Quirk manifested on his fifth birthday he found that instead of having his brother's Quirk, he received a combination of his father's black whip Quirk and his mother's imaginary friend Quirk. The result was a sentient chatty goop that became permanently anchored onto his back. Over time his hopes of ever becoming a hero vanished and he turned to escapism in music. Saburou was a friendly little monster, but it was tiring to always have him around acting as a third wheel. Jirou found himself jealous of his older brother, silently cursing his bad luck in receiving a lesser and inconvenient Quirk.

Jirou learned hypnotism to occasionally be able to put his quirk to "sleep", temporarily de-manifesting it for a time. However Saburou remains an almost constant and nagging presence in his life.

Ironically, though Jirou let go of his dreams of being a Hero his Quirk never did. When it came time for them to pick a career path Jirou was intent on finishing school in general education and becoming a musician, but his Quirk would never shut up until he tried to become a Hero. So the pair of bickering brothers applied to many schools and failed to get into any of them, Jirou was almost relieved but Saburou was heartbroken. So, begrudgingly, Jirou came to LOSER in one final attempt to fulfill the dreams of his strange Quirk. His heart isn't fully in what he is doing, but he will try his best to get it over with.[/indent]
