On the far rim of the galaxy, lies an Ocean planet Scylla, inhabited only by a small research team sent there to investigate a signal given off from under the waves. A few years pass and occasional communications are sent back, mainly catalouges of new aquatic flora and fauna. Even the occasional sighting of what looks like a primative life form living on the planet. 

Then without warning the distress beacon was activated, sending out a signal to the stars. Whatever was going on there, something had gone wrong, they needed help quickly. 

Unfortunately somewhere that far out was seen as of little importance and so no official response team was sent out by any large corporate or government entities. It seemed for a little while that no one was going to respond to the distress call, after all who would want to help out a few low-paid researchers in some far off reach of space? Especially if the job put them in mortal danger? 

Yet there was one hope - one last chance for salvation. A former friend and scientist of one of the crew that had initially gone to the station managed to pick up on the signal and tap into its message. Unwilling to let her old friends just die without being given any chance, she decided to use whatever funds she could to try and hire a small crew and do the best she could.

So, a bit of OOC stuff here, I've always wanted to do an underwater Sci-fi esque action/adventure rp. Now while it will mostly be centered on the small crew and them reacting to the different situations that they get themselves into, with the whole underwater theme, the rp could lean somewhats towards horror in the deeper depths, although that will be kept to a minimum. 

That said, I'm really glad you showed interest and I look forward to seeing your characters.

Rules: 

Really I'm as a GM I'm not overly rule heavy GM, the only real ones I wanna stress are when creating a character, if they're from a unique sci-fi race, please nothing utterly brokenly strong. This rp needs to challenges to overcome down the line. The other being the same as so many others - just treat your fellow rpers with respect.
