[indent][b]Distinguishing Features:[/b][indent]Akira is a boy who looks, dresses, and behaves like a girl. He has long, silky, blonde hair, an unnervingly dead, piercing, blue gaze, and a literal visual sparkle that accompanies him everywhere thanks to his quirk.[/indent][/indent]

[indent]Akira is a slow thinker. Gentle and calm, with a drawn-out manner of speaking, his very presence can slow down a conversation. He is friendly and likes to hold hands, but is no more invasive than this. He tends to go with the flow of whatever others are doing, and has a hard time reading the mood or even picking up on sarcasm. His grades are abysmal due to the fact that he is easily distracted, but he is surprisingly knowledgeable about things that hold his interest. Some think he might actually be autistic, though he seldom reacts negatively to anything, and even those reactions are quite muted. Some think its a ruse, since he has consciously chosen to dress like a girl, and firmly decided that he's going to be a hero.[/indent]

[indent]Akira was fortunate to have grown up in a tolerant family, who never suppressed his sense of personal expression, despite the pressures of Japanese societal norms. Still, Akira was a bit of an enigma to those around him. Those who didn't know him well thought he merely wandered through life as if in a daze, not realizing the fact that he was convicted and embraced his 'strangeness'. From a young age, it was clear that Akira loved singing and dancing, and took to learning music, focusing mostly on pop. He aspired to be an idol one day, and knew that his quirk would allow him to dazzle his audience. But he knew that he was not able to unleash the full potential of what his quirk was capable of, so he applied to hero academies, the only places where quirk training was allowed. Of course, his ambitions, overall ditzy demeanor, and poor grades did not align with most school's concept of an aspiring hero, and he was rejected from every school that had any sense. What he had found difficult to convey in those applications and interviews was that his wish to become an idol came from a strong desire to prop people up mentally, to encourage them to also pursue their dreams, to help them and make them aspire to be more than they could be. Over time, Akira realized that to be a good idol, he needed to be a great hero, so he could live up to the message he wished to deliver. Before encouraging others to try their hardest, he had to do it himself. He had to become the top idol of the hero world to inspire people through heroics and through musical performance, physically and artistically. Now Akira finds himself at L.O.S.E.R. This was his one shot at achieving his dream.[/indent]
[color=#FF00FF][b]EMITTER CLASS QUIRK - Smoke 'n' Mirrors[/b][/color]
[indent][b]Short Quirk explanation:[/b][indent]His skin is covered in a light glitter that refracts light into images he imagines. The more glitter he spreads, the larger his illusions can be.[/indent][/indent]
[indent][b]In depth Quirk Details***:[/b][indent]His skin can run out of glitter, leaving his skin raw and tender. The glitter is non-toxic, biodegradable, and dissolves on contact with water, so it causes not harm or irritation if it gets in the eyes, nose or mouth, making it completely civilian safe. Wind and rain are therefore big weaknesses to the quirk as such adverse weather can easily dispel his illusions. The main use during combat would be to distract or confuse opponents, though Akira currently lacks the combat prowess to take advantage of such a situation by himself. His quirk can potentially be useful by creating evacuation directions and obscuring civilians from villains through illusion. Akira currently lacks the mental concentration to imagine anything more than thin, colored beams of light, like a laser show, and will need to develop the skill to make fully-formed, convincing illusions. He also lacks sound to really sell the illusions.[/indent][/indent]
[indent][b]Quirk Development***:[/b][indent]Akira needs to learn to concentration on imagining his illusions. Also, since there is a limited supply of glitter on his body at any time, one thing he can do is to collect and store his glitter regularly in canisters that he can deploy, possibly through drones (ala Mysterio from Spiderman: Far From Home). It might also help for Akira to have a foley soundboard to make noises for more convincing illusions (possibly speakers on aforementioned drones). His most offensive ability might be something akin to DBZ's 'Solar Flare'. Akira might also need to learn some form of martial arts with a focus on confusing, outmaneuvering, or disorienting the opponent. Possibly learning acrobatics, gymnastics, and/or parkour to take advantage of his naturally limber physical build, becoming a 'dancer' in the 'RPG class'-sense.[/indent][/indent]
