Other habits include keeping his hair semi long, in the sense that it is cut short but is kept in a messy manner. Wears glasses, not the lens-less kind. He needs them, but not as much as one might assume. Overall, just your typical teenager.[/sup]

[b]Personality[/b]
[sup] In short, he is a sassafras. Intelligent, he will have some sort of witty comeback for just about anything. Underneath this rather irritating exterior, he is quite caring. Despite bwing the communicator of a god of war, he is quite calm and collected. He will avoid confrontation before engaging. A lover, not a fighter, in the truest sense of the word. If one was to examine his family history and his upbringing, they would very quickly conclude that he is one of those 'born with a silver spoon up their ass' types. However, he really is not. He is genuine, most of the time, and rather easy to approach. [/sup]

[b]Brief Bio[/b]
[sup]Jo was born approximately 18 years ago in Taiwan. His parents, born on opposite sides of financial spectrum, fell in love as soon as they had met. The heads of their house knew of each other and what they stood for, and was not too happy about their union...

On his mother's side, the family had a very successful business. When his mother and father married, it was discovered that, though he seemed every bit a 'Jack-Of-All-Trades' type, his father actually was very entrepreneurial and had a knack for running a good business. Under the leadership of his mother and father, the family business thrived, paving the way of the lifestyle Jo and his family grew accustomed to.


Growing up, Jo was never wanting. He simply had to ask, and he received. However, that is not to say his parents gave him everything he wanted without first validating the need or merit in Jo receiving what he is asking for. For example, for some reason when he was eight, Jo wanted a vintage watch to wear. These are valued in similar fashion to collector's cars. Jo asked for a vintage Radiomir Panerai, one of the more expensive vintage watches in the market, if one can even have one imported from Europe. His parents agreed, on the condition of him doing whatever chore they asked of him, without recourse, for six months. When six months came and gone, and Jo fulfilled his part of the bargain, a pristine Panerai watch showed up in his room one afternoon and it was his to keep and care for. Until this day, Jo still has the watch, although he does not wear it anymore. 

When he was sixteen, Jo and his family decided to relocate back to Japan, for business purposes. Having never lived in the country, Jo had a bit of a hard time adapting. He had no friends, no connections and felt no sense of purpose. He turned to religion, in particular Shinto, as a way to feel like he belonged. For some reason, unbeknownst to him yet, he always felt drawn to shrines dedicated to Hachiman, the guardian of Japan and warriors alike. When he in His shrine, he felt at peace, tranquil...

[b]Reason For Choice[/b]
[sup]It almost seemed destined for Jo to be chosen. He hails from the ancient Minamoto clan, in which Hachiman is the tutelary god. [/sup]

[b]Weapon[/b]
[sup]An unassuming chokuto. He does not often carry it with him, but it can be summoned to his side in a moment of need. It has been speculated that this sword is the fabled Kusanagi, but this has not be verified or determined[/sup]

[b]Powers[/b]

Being a rather novice communicator, Hachiman has not given or introduced Jo to many powers. More to be discovered or determined as the RP progresses

[b]I.Tenka-Goken (Five Swords under Heave) Jo can summon five ethereal swords to be utilized individually or collectively. He can either physically hold and swing these swords one at a time or telepathically control all five with his hands.

II. More of a general power. Being the communicator of a god of war, Jo is at least proficient in most forms of combat, especially archery, the use of spears, and swords.
