Penelope frowned as Crow didn't seem to even register her words. His uneven and short breath continued and this time the viceroy didn't even react to her presence like before. She knitted her brow concernedly. If she couldn't get him to even realize she was there, it'd be a lot more difficult for her to help him. The knight was beginning to try and think of other things to do when she heard him suddenly take in a large breath. She blinked and then gave a small, hopeful smile as she realized that he was attempting to follow her instructions. Since he seemed to realize what she was telling him to do, she relaxed a little too soon. As he went onto try and hold his breath, the knight was caught off guard as he suddenly gasped. Penelope jumped slightly as he failed to hold his breath and her eyes widened as the failure nearly seemed to make his breathing worse. It sparked worry in her. What if he wouldn't be able to use the technique? He already seemed worse than the day before so what if his initial panic from the dream was merely too strong? She grew a bit tense at the thought. However, she was quickly distracted from her worries as he went on to speak to her. The sound of his choking voice and ragged breaths made her push aside her own concerns. She had to get him to try again, hating that he was stuck in such a state. Even if her concerns turned out to be true, at least she would know for sure. Penelope shifted to wrap an arm around him, pressing closer to him and she leaned down to kiss his forehead. "You can do it.. You just had a little bit of trouble, that's all. Come on, try again. I'll do it with you this time ok?" she murmured softly to him. She reached for his hand and gave it a soft, reassuring squeeze. "Just... Breath in." she inhaled deeply, paused and then let it out with her mouth. "And breath out. You got this."
