It would have been a simple enough matter. She could easily just shut up and go with the flow. Akiko had managed to talk their way out of the situation, the commander was practically eating out of her hand as Akiko flirted with the oblivious woman. It would have been easy to just obey this woman, go meet with whoever this Asgard was, follow the laws of this world and its authority. For a time she even considered doing just that, following the group at a sedate pace, rolling her eyes with the guards as Lorelai completely missed Akiko's obvious flirtations.

But would that really be any different than what she did before? Would she be seeking adventure if she just let herself be lead around by the nose by some nebulous figure of authority she had just met? The answer was of course no, she would not be. A pirate would let herself be kowtowed by power was no pirate at all, just a coward with a fabulous outfit on. So Rose did what any reasonable pirate would do.
