Penelope let out a yawn as she waited from her food. It was a long one and once she opened her eyes again, she spotted Crow entering the Great Hall. A small smile crossed her lips, still glad to get a bit more time with him despite her eagerness to get her food and go to bed. As he neared, her plate of food arrived and she muttered a quick word of thanks to the servant before focusing her gaze back onto Crow as he moved to sit down across from her. She was about to greet him when he asked her about how she was feeling. The knight blinked, a bit caught off guard by the question, and then gave him a tired smile. "I'm alright." she assured him then paused before giving a sheepish shrug. "Although I suppose you're not far off from that guess. I'm tired." Penelope admitted, resting her head against the palm of her hand while using her free hand to poke at her food. "Between my guard shifts and party planning, I haven't been able to get much rest.. I think I only slept a couple hours after my shift yesterday." Reflecting on her previous day, she began to realize just how busy she was getting. She had even requested more night shifts from Tybalt just so she would have her days free to work with Oliver and Dimia on the party. Suddenly realizing she'd likely be low on sleep for a while, Penelope let out a weary sigh, feeling even more tired just by the thought of it. I'll be able to relax once we have enough support to stop the war... she thought determinedly. Suddenly her gaze focused back on Crow and she realized that she had spaced off for a brief moment, caught up in her drowsiness and thoughts. Not wanting to worry him, she offered a small smile. "I'll be fine. I can probably squeeze in a couple hours of sleep before-" he words cut off as a small yawn escaped her. "-before my midday shift today."
