Alexander looked at Persephone and Isabella. He managed a nod. He blushed, embarrassed that Isabella had to see him in that state. He...did kind of like her, he admitted to himself. He didn't know if he should go for it though. Anyway, he spoke. "I was just in the direct morning sunlight longer than I should have been, but I was coaxing your little friend back down from the tree. She got scared when I was startled awake like that." Alexander could handle a little sunlight, just not in the morning hours. That was when it really hurt him. He was not nearly old enough to develop a true tolerance yet. He gave the cat a faint smile. "I hope you're alright now." Peter and Marigold watched Isabella and Alexander from the shed. Marigold winked at Peter. Peter actually smirked.
