The woman smiled when he shook her hand and left. She moved to her desk, everything tucking itself away again before she sighed, sitting back on her desk as she pulled out a small hand held mirror to check if she got any of her lipstick on her sharpened teeth. "Humans are so... gullible," She said to herself before she closed her mirror and looked out across the city. "Don't worry Vex, it won't take long for him to find you." Vex felt someone following her, but she had a feeling it wasn't the Hunters; they make more of a flashy chase when it came to her kind. She got to a crowd of people and tried to slink through, moving into an alleyway as soon as she could. She breathed in slowly, but her running away wasn't over yet. She stepped along the alleyway quietly, feeling her feet hit the ground and tried to stay as silent as possible. She turned into a more hidden alleyway and slipped behind a dumpster and crouched in the shadows. She steeled herself, waiting and watching the shadows in front of her.
