Penelope smiled amusedly as Crow told her how it wasn't the dancing he was used to. She supposed that made sense though. Nobles were a lot more strict than peasants to begin with so of course their dancing would have a few more rules. As Naida spoke up, Penelope nodded her head in agreement, missing the wry wink. A lot of the time dancing was usually a way for young nobles to meet potential suitors. Her attention shifted back to Crow as he copied her posture and then stepped forward to press his hand against hers. "Nobles don't tend to dance closely together right away." Penelope explained with small shrug. "This is just how the dance will start. It's a formality of sorts. So imagine we're meeting for the first time. This is the beginning of our dance and we have to get a feel for each other before we go onto more complicated steps." The knight noticed Naida watching them with an eager grin. Biting back a snort, she met Crow's gaze as she focused in on him. "So for this part we're going to go around in a small circle. However, when you walk, take a step and then bend your knees slightly." Penelope explained, demonstrating by dipping down just slightly to give him a reference. "Once we complete the circle, we'll stop and then lift our right hands and join them slightly above our heads." "And don't forget to keep your eyes on her!" Naida piped in. "A lot of women like to dance and converse." Penelope gave her eyes a small roll then met Crow's gaze again, smiling tiredly. Despite being dragged into this late night plan, she had to admit that she was a bit excited at by the thought of dancing with him. Though, she just wished it could have started this at a time when they weren't both tired. She let out a long sigh, suppressing a yawn. "Alright, let's try this. Usually the guy leads, but since it's your first time, I'll lead instead. This first part is pretty simple but I'll go slow just incase." she told him. She shifted to stand up a bit straighter and prepared to begin moving in a clockwise circle. "Ready?" she asked.
