May I take a shot at creating the female? My idea was:

Kalyani is an experimental monster gone wrong. She was created as the ultimate monster to destroy Sakura and Alucard, but she turned out to be more humane than they wanted. She hated just being a test subject and escaped, wanting to make her master proud. She's very talented in survival skills but only knows what she's been told. She was created, not born, so she never had any family, but she's as old as your male character.
