Hey, I've got couple of questions before I make my character. 

One, how closely-related is this game to canon Dragon Ball? 

If two Saiyans are due to come to Earth to test its fighters rather than to obtain the Dragon Balls as Vegeta and Nappa sought, and the Saiyans are conquering planets to make homes for themselves rather than simply genociding everyone on the planet so that Freeza can sell it, than it's reasonable to assume that this isn't exactly going to follow canon too closely.

So that begs the question of whether the same canon characters are going to show up. Freeza, Cell, Goku, Bulma, Vegeta, etc, especially if we're going to have original arcs instead of arcs that follow the canon sagas.

Two, I know you've stated that power levels won't exactly matter, but even if power levels are simple numbers, certain species are naturally stronger in canon Dragon Ball. I was thinking of making a human, and humans in canon Dragon Ball tend to almost exclusively lag behind their Saiyan counterparts (often to the point of simple irrelevance in the big climactic battles) simply due to Zenkais and Super Saiyan forms. If this isn't following canon, is the power gap going to be any narrower? I really don't want to wind up sitting out of big fights like Yamcha and Krillin do, or batted aside by the arc villain the second he shows up to show how badass he is and need the Saiyans to save the day. Will this be a problem for human characters?
