Just a brief summary - The current story is at Loguetown. The crew have defeated Captain Valar and plundered his treasure back at the Brown Isles. They've gotten in a 'skirmish' with the Marines on the way to Loguetown. The news of the Scarlet Pirates is only published on the current day's news, so the crew that have just arrived there aren't so aware of the new bounties (the Captain specifically).
