Captain Yamanami It was good to see that there were no hard feelings about what had happened earlier, and the altercation that had almost taken place. Even more surprising was the fact that no one had inquired further about the damage to the Andromeda, but that just made it easier for him in turn. Trust was a bit hard to come by, and revealing so much would have been a bit reckless at this point. Looking between the various factions and their offers of assistance to each other, he did find a reason to speak up. "Our own FTL is currently offline, though we're hoping to have it back up shortly. We lost the escorts bringing us back to Earth when we wound up here." At that point a map was brought up by their host, detailing the various systems that surrounded them. Turning towards the image, he rubbed his chin in thought for a moment as he examined "If we're going to make port then we'll need an inhabited system, either with oceans or orbital shipyards," he observed after a moment. "Beyond that I suppose the exact destination doesn't matter that much." it wasn't as if they knew what they were walking into. They'd just have to hope for the best.
