He has no tattoos, but does have an operation scar on his stomach from having his appendix removed some years back. He's quite fit, and though he does not have a proper six-pack, you can tell he's not far from it. Alex has shoulder-length dark brown hair, that he keeps in a ponytail. Alex mainly dresses in outfits like the leftmost picture in the reference (no idea what to call that, and honestly not even sure how to describe it), minus the lone sleeve. If the weather is not warm enough, he either pairs it with a jacket, which he often leaves open, or wears something else entierly. He does have and wear more normal clothes, typically either jeans, a shirt, and a patterned vest, or just jeans, a t, and maybe an open shirt. In unpleasant weather, he prefers just using a long coat but does have regular rainwear for windy, or particularly wet days. Alex isn't really considered either pretty or not, having looks maybe a bit above average, but not much. His fairly good physique is a big plus for many, however, so he'd probably rate decently on most dating apps. Personality: Alex is an upbeat guy most of the time. He loves games, particularly physical ones like football and volleyball, but doesn't really care about winning or losing, so long as he doesn't rack up too long of a losing streak. He dislikes when things get too competitive, or when discussions turn too private, which makes him shy away from joining sports teams or clubs, and from party games like truth or dare. He tries to take things at face value, even when he thinks there is a subtext because things are much simpler and more pleasant at the face value level. He hates intrigue and drama, especially in real life, but also in tv shows, books and the like. He tends to shy away from confrontations but will stand up for himself and his friends if needed. He gets a bit more open after a few drinks, but not enough to discuss private matters casually. Biography:
Alex grew up in the midlands, fairly uneventfully. He did notice, however, that he was different from the others. He never quite felt at home, or comfortable, like something was wrong, somehow. Of course, this is not uncommon for the fragmented, so for a while, he just shrugged it off. But around 12, he noticed that it was not just the fragmented thing that was bothering him, it was more, too. He never felt whole, and felt a constant pull, as if part of him was missing, sure, but there was also a feeling of... Wrongness, about his own body. It took him a couple of years to figure out and come to terms with, and even more to fully accept, but he realised he was also trans. Which made a lot of sense once he realised it, but also didn't. After all, on TV, most trans men, (or was it trans women? he always got confused by that part.), were very effeminate, and even after transitioning, they were typically the sorta girl to spend hours on their makeup, shopping, clothes and the like, while he himself never really had that. He'd always been a typical boy's boy, loving sports, action films and the like, so if he'd been born a girl, he'd definitely have been a tomboy, especially as a kid. And that was it really, he realised he had, in a way, always seen himself as exactly that, a tomboy. The realisation didn't really change much for him, however. He decided fairly quickly that transitioning was not for him. He might not feel perfectly at home in his body, and though waking up one day, two inches shorter, with a b-cup and a different set of junk would be a dream come true for him, going through the transition itself seemed to be more trouble than it was worth, especially considering the less than ideal outcome. Besides, he liked having the option to have kids of his own one day, and functioning ovaries wasn't exactly a part of the trans op package deal. In regards to pronouns, he took no issue with being called "him", though he'd certainly not take offence at the opposite either. He does like the ambiguity of "Alex" however, and prefers that to his full name. In the end, Alex decided to pretty much keep the entire thing to himself, and apart from a few very close friends and his doctor, no one really knows about it at all.
Alex was a fairly clever kid, though nothing special, getting lots of C's and B's, and very rarely an A. He attended a vocational school for electricians but found he quite liked the programming side of things, and, having always wanted to get some form of higher education, he started a bachelor in programming. However, he dropped out after two years because he figured it wasn't quite right for him. After dropping out he instead finished up his vocational schooling and started working as an electrician. Alex is not really an artistic person, but like to draw simple sketches and doodles from time to time. He's not a huge fan of music, most of the time preferring simple silence, but when he does listen to music, he prefers it either be very vocal focused, or completely instrumental, or at least close to it. His favourite artists are "The Correspondents" "Art Brut" and "Parov Stelar", though he only really likes a couple of songs from each. Alex plays some video games, mainly fighting and racing games, with his all-time favourites being Mario Cart and Lethal Leauge. Alex watches some tv, and a fair bit of anime. All-time favourites are Violet Evergarden, Firefly, and Free! Alex's favourite pass times are all physical though, he loves jogging in the park, playing ball games casually, frisbee golf, and really anything else both social and physical. He used to be into gymnastics but eventually stopped because he was really the only person his age still doing it without being particularly good at it. He knew how to do both front and backflips, but is unsure if he could do either now. He also had a short period where he was into wrestling, but he quickly grew tired of the competitive nature of his local club. These days he gets most his exercise from playing football (the soccer kind), with some colleagues from work, and some really basic weightlifting at home. Lately, the feeling of being incomplete, that has been present throughout his life, had become increasingly bothersome, and Alex intentionally sought out other fragmented, having met two of them in the hope that they'd be the one. But even after holding hands with one, and doing... more, with the other, there was no sign of a connection. As such, the invitation from the twins was a very welcome surprise. Other: ★ Alex doesn't really have a favourite colour, but slightly dislikes turquoise, though only to the degree on never buying anything that colour himself.
