Daini can nicely be described as focused. More accurately, he's got a one track mind. He's always thinking about swords this, and swords that, and blah blah blah. For this reason, Daini can easily come off as annoying. But, if you can tolerate this sword-brained idiot for long enough, you can actually find a pretty nice guy underneath, if not the smartest.

[b]History:[/b] 
Daini Saisei was a young boy of the tender age of 6 when he was found by the retired Sword Master, Kyuseishu no Ken. Kyuseishu, having retired after a particularly intense battle resulting in the loss of his left arm, was quite surprised to find an almost feral child skulking in his pantry. After a short contest of wills between the two of them (Kyuseishu held Daini up by the scruff of his neck for about 10 minutes), they reached a tentative peace. Years passed and the young Daini eventually took up swordsmanship in order to honor his father figure/worst enemy. There was only one problem. He was terrible at it. For the next few years, Daini struggled to use a blade with any amount of actual skill, generally seeming more like a monkey with a metal stick rather than a real swordsman. Kyuseishu tried every training method he could think, with each one failing more spectacularly than the last. Daini eventually decided that he'd had enough. It was time for him to take matters into his own hands. With a determined heart, Daini took his training sword and ventured deep into the nearby wilderness, hoping that a trial by fire would finally give him the push he needed. Two long years later, Daini returned to his home. He was tired, hungry, and wounded, but he had returned as a swordsman. Only Daini truly knows what he went through during those years, and he won't be telling anyone anytime soon.

 - [b]Techniques[/b] - 
[b]Accelerate Spirit:[/b] Daini focuses his energy into a thin layer surrounding his body, focusing on the idea of "cutting through." This allows Daini to greatly increase his speed for a short time.

[b]Sharpen Spirit:[/b] Daini focuses his energy around his blade, greatly increasing its cutting power for a short time. In addition, the aura around the blade extends slightly farther than the blade itself. Daini can also use the energy gathered around the blade to shoot off a crescent shaped energy blast.

[b]Sheath Spirit:[/b] Daini focuses his energy into an orb around himself. The orb is completely smooth and solid, and defends Daini from most forms of attack while active.

[b]Advance Spirit:[/b] Daini focuses a greater amount of energy into one of his other techniques, greatly increasing their effect. This ability requires great focus and can easily be interrupted should the user lose concentration.
