Description: Alex stands at about 5' 10", with dark green eyes and fairly pale skin. Sporting his jet black hair, usually swept back as well as a plug earring to match on his left ear. He likes to wear casual, sporty clothes to help stay mobile and flexible as well as being comfortable. This means stuff like, shorts, t-shirts, and depending on the weather a set of thermals and a jacket or hoodie. Unless he's in the privacy of his own room or around people he feels truly comfortable around, Alex is almost always wearing a face mask. Sometimes he pulls it up over his nose but it's almost always on. He has a growing collection with many different patterns. His skateboard never leaves his side.

Personality: Alex is a fairly laid back person. He rarely gets mad about stuff. The only time you'll see him heated is when he is defending his friends. Other than that, he's pretty quiet and very much a 'go with the flow' kind of guy (All the pun intended). However, his skateboard is practically glued to him and he never goes anywhere without it. Even if he's not using his levitation abilities, he loves skateboarding and moving about on it. His current board is nearing three years old and he takes the upmost care and he keeps a wheel of each skateboard he eventually breaks in a case in his room. He enjoys being around people, even if he doesn't say much. He just enjoys the company. However, when he does have time to himself, he likes to work out, listen to music and read a book or two.

Skills: 
Multi-traversal Skateboarding: By using his secondary magic, Alex can essentially skate on any surface. Up and along walls, railings, ceilings etc. While he cannot, for some reason, fly on the skateboard he can get a little bit extra jump using it as well. This gives him creative angles and methods to use his water magic. He likes creating rails using ice if he is in an open area but prefers using actual buildings and terrain. He hopes to learn how to shadow-step to further enhance this feat.

Natural Agility: Even without his skateboard, Alex can still move. He's light on his feet and can move pretty well. Not like a parkour expert but he can definitely cat grab and vault over some objects using his hands.

Calm mind: With his laid back attitude, it's hard for him to lose his cool under pressure and has a knack for making decisions in pressing situations. This is, in part, due to his heritage.

Weaknesses: Alex's lack of hand to hand combat training makes him an easy target if he's immobilised. Alex's main combat style is to use his water magic from different and strange angles to keep enemies at bay. While he hopes to fix this at some point, anyone with formal training could hand him his ass pretty easily.

Brief History: Alex wasn't born to any kind of noble bloodline or wealthy family but they were well enough. He grew up in a loving household and for a while, both of his parents were present. From what he knows, the Samsons were Advisers many generations back. At least to more of the prevalent Houses. Usually a voice of reason and calm, however their voice was drowned out in the original wars. The Samsons retired themselves to studying and trying to understand the world more, as well as taking the responsibility of recording the magical world's events, leading to many history books being written by a Samson. This knowledge and studious nature was handed down generation by generation.

When the war against the Cult began, the eldest of Samsons were sought out again. Their levelheadedness made his grandparents key tacticians in the War. In Alex's eyes, they will be unsung heroes. However, all of his family saw the need to enroll Alex in the Marchand Academy. This would be a great opportunity to learn and hone his abilities more. While Alex does possess the same Samson nature, he secretly hopes that he can bring it to the frontline when the next War comes.
