Full Name:Watanabe Yuno Hero Name: Spice Dragon Appearance: Yuno is of fairly average weight and height, though he has started to gain some good muscle definition. He has an unassuming and kind-looking face, which is a bit at odds with the persona he wants to build around his hero name. He's almost always smiling slightly, a sort of anti-"resting bitch face". Age: 15 Class: 1-A Quirk: Red Pepper Spray When Yuno eats peppers or other spicy food, he gets the temporary ability to breathe fire. The hotter the pepper, the hotter the fire, and the more he eats, the larger flame he can make, and the further he can blow it. Anyone hit by the fire will also find it contains capsaicin, though with most peppers, less of it than normal pepper spray. Getting it in your eyes or lungs still hurt though, and that can happen even if you avoided the fire, though mostly only if you were just out of reach. It's possible his quirk might let him just do the pepper spray part of his quirk, or at least gain enough skill to stop the flames just before they reach someone, letting just the pepper part (which has slightly longer each), hit his target, but Juno has never really tried, finding the fire part much cooler. Strengths: Can breathe fire, making him good short and mid-range. Weaknesses: He needs to eat very hot peppers to really be a threat, not just a nuisance, and he needs to eat a lot of peppers to get his reach into propper mid-range levels. Has to physically eat peppers, meaning he has to bring a lot to the fight and needs the time to eat them. His quirk also gets temporarily less and less effective as he uses it, taking a few days to recover fully, along with his taste buds. He's bad at eating spicy food. If he doesn't wear goggles, he can easily get his own pepper breath into his eyes. Personality: He often complains, but still puts in his best efforts. He's becoming a hero mostly because he finds heroes really cool, especially Endeavour and Double, and wants to be like them. He does also want to help people, but the cool factor is very much the main driving force. When he makes a blunder, he tends to get over it quite quickly, and he almost never holds a grudge. That's not to say he's an overly positive sort of person, sure he's quite forgivng, both towards himself and others, but his baseline is still closer to grumpy than it is upbeat. He likes kids quite a lot and has considered becoming a children's entertainer, though it's never been much more than "might be fun to try one-day" type of thing. He likes to work out, and despite complaining about homework and tests a fair bit, he does well in school. He hates peppers, or even just raw onions or ginger, as he finds them too spicy and painful to eat, which is a real problem in combination with his quirk. History/Bio: He's a fairly normal teenage boy. It was really only in the last year that Yuno decided to actually try to be a hero. It'd always been a dream of his, but he'd always figured it was not for him. But once he was starting to look into which school to apply for, he kept coming back to UA, and eventually decided to go for it. So in the last year of middle school, he put in much more effort in both his classes and in working out than he previously had. It was also at this point where he started to really train his quirk. A process which he hated, deeply. He's mainly focused on eating many weak peppers, to get larger (and therefore cooler) flames, but has tried to eat some gotter peppers too and really get the temperature going. Before this, he'd only really used his quirk on accident, such as when his freinds pranked him with spicy food, or when eating nacho pizza with jalapenos, the only spicy food he likes (though the only reason he doesn't feel off the jalapenos is that his mother says it's rude, even if they do make you breathe fire, so he wasn't allowed to). His family, even while trying to get him used to spicy food, has stopped using peppers in their regular cooking, instead using horseradish, black pepper (which is not, in fact, a capsicum pepper), ginger and other similar alternatives as firebreathing by the dinner table is quite inconvenient.
