Her hair and tail is snow white in color along with the fluffy ears perched on top of her head. She has red eyes with vertically slitted pupils and has red markings on her cheeks. She is usually dressed in her red gambeson along with a black scarf, bracers, skirt, and thighboots. Her outfit is adorned with golden accents on her pauldron, belt buckle, and skirt. She also has a seal of the Crimson Order, a gift from her mentor, attached to her scarf with a silver chain.
{Physical Abilities}
Martial Prowess - Alythana is quite skilled with the use of most bladed weapons but is most adept with her rapier. Throughout her journey with her teacher, she learned how to use many weapons but was mostly taught how to use the rapier to near perfection, thus shaping her fighting style to prefer quick, precision strikes at the appropriate time.
{Magical Abilities}
Red Magic - Alythana is adept practitioner of red magic, a combination of white magic, comprised of the air and earth elements that are less destructive as well as healing magic, and black magic, comprised of more destructive elements such as fire and lightning. In addition to aspected spells, she can also control raw, unaspected magic to attack her foes with. Typically, spells are casted in a traditional manner using the caster’s internal reserves in order to both attack and build up the magical reserves in their weapon, beginning with a weaker, quicker, spell before weaving in a stronger one with a technique known as dual-casting. Once the magical reserves in their weapon are filled, the caster rushes forward and expends aforementioned reserves by unleashing an onslaught of magically charged attacks, before the caster retreats to begin the process again.
{Limitations}
Balanced Casting - In order for Alythana to fully make the most of her spells, she must alternate between the usage of white and black magic. If she were to focus on one side over the other, her control and the potency of her magic would be compromised, rendering her unable to use her stronger abilities while weakening what she is still able to cast until she is back in balance. Unacclimated Magic - Due to Alythana having used aether to cast her magic for all her life, the sudden shift from using one source of magic to a new one has impaired the potency of her spells. She is effectively locked out of her most powerful spells until she is able to become acclimated to the new source of magic and effectively manipulate it. Arcane exhaustion - Because red magic draws on the user’s own source of magic, it can become quite taxing on the body. Although Alythana has trained in order to increase her stamina with the arcane arts, if a fight lasts for too long or causes her to use too many advanced spells she’ll often find herself both physically and mentally exhausted.
{Equipment}
Murgleis is Alythana’s primary and only weapon. It is comprised of a rapier and a magicked crystal medium. When wielding the weapon normally, the rapier is in her right hand while the crystal floats just above her left or simply just floats behind her. When casting spells, the rapier is held with the blade facing downward and the crystal placed on the weapon’s pommel, giving it the appearance of a mage’s scepter. When sheathed, the rapier is slid into its scabbard and the crystal medium is attached to her belt.

{Personality}
Alythana’s personality is one of a just and helpful person, willing to help others in need just as her teacher once did before her. She maintains a professional and graceful demeanor while focused on her task. Though she is fairly young, a youth full of travelling and training with her teacher has conditioned her to not be averse to killing, though she would still much prefer to defeat someone and take them alive over killing them. She is still fairly naive though, not having experienced many tragic or traumatic experiences in her life, and tries to see the good in everyone she encounters regardless of their past actions. In a more comfortable and relaxed setting however, she is very casual with most people she comes across and is actually quite curious. She’s an eager learner, though unfortunately she loses her gracefulness in the process. It is not uncommon that one can find her in random or strange positions as she’s reading a book and sometimes, quite often actually, she’ll run into something while she’s reading, lost in her thoughts, or even while she’s in an interesting conversation with someone.
{Place of Origin}
Alythana hails from the realm of Eorzea, specifically from the city-state of Ala Mhigo on the continent of Aldenard, with a modest upbringing.
{Background}
Alythana was born in Ala Mhigo, a recently conquered city-state of the Garlean Empire. For all of her life she was raised under Imperial rule, watching as her parents and others in the city-state struggled under the abusive treatment of the Imperial garrison as well as the heavy taxes imposed. For the most part in her early life, she was protected by her parents from their harsh reality and was able to have a somewhat normal childhood for a time. That is, until the fragile barrier her parents had set up around their daughter was shattered by the Imperials at their door. The memory of her parents being dragged out as they begged for their daughter to run would forever be ingrained into the young girl’s mind. She fled her home in tears, working her way towards the home of an old family friend, X’rhun Tia, for safety. After spilling out the information of what transpired through sobs and tears, X’rhun Tia led them away from Ala Mhigo and soon enough away from the Gyr Abania region all-together as they began to wander the land of Eorzea. As they wandered the land, picking up the occasional odd job to sustain themselves, Alythana slowly began to show an aptitude for the magical arts. Upon noticing this, X’rhun took it upon himself to nurture her magical growth, mentoring her in the ways of the Red Mage. As she matured, Alythana grew into a very formidable Red Mage, often aiding her mentor with their more complex jobs or in case any job ends up going south. One day during their travels however, X’rhun catches wind of a disturbing plot being led by Lambard, an old comrade of his. During their investigation of this sinister plot, they manage to rescue a girl known as Arya who they deemed was in the process of being turned into another one of Lambard’s mindless slaves. She ends up joining Alythana and X’rhun as their comrade during their investigation, eventually even becoming a Red Mage alongside them once she showed an aptitude for magic. Eventually, the trio of Red Mages managed to confront Lambard to end his plot, only for Lambard to make use of his ill gotten powers to injure X’rhun to the point where he cannot fight anymore. Alythana and Arya stepped in to defend their mentor and together they managed to defeat Lambard. When the two thought everything was over though, Lambard poured all of his aether into one final attack aimed directly for X’rhun. Seeing that it was too late to stop Lambard, Alythana jumped in to take the attack instead, unknowingly being transported to another dimension as a result.
