Daini Saisei, Master Swordsman and Adept Ki-User, only apprentice to the legendary Kyuseishu no Ken, was having an off day.

It all started when he left his room to get himself some breakfast. Normally, this would be a simple process resulting in a nutritious breakfast of cereal and potentially a banana. Today however, when Daini opened his pantry to grab the box of cereal, he laid eyes on a giant rat tearing through all of the food inside. He managed to deal with the rat without getting injured, but now his clothes were covered in rat's blood! And he still had no breakfast! After changing his clothes, Daini left the house and went to the nearby town in the hopes of getting something to eat from elsewhere. Before he could get halfway there, he was jumped by a group of bandits! They weren't very dangerous bandits, but by the time Daini had managed to deal with them all (beating the braver ones, catching up to the cowardly ones) it was midday!

"Can this day get any worse!?" Daini cried out, frustration clear in his voice.
