Spindle had already begun communicating with some other unknown figure with a megaphone of their own. He unstrapped his Mp5 and handed it to 4Sight, "I won't need this." He wanted to come across as non-threatening as possible. Though he still kept his sidearm in its holster. The forcefields from Presidio shimmered upon him. He hoped they did much more then look neat. Judah did notice it was slightly harder to move. An effect of them perhaps? Then he glanced at Slingshot and nodded affirmatively. Judah looked up toward the roof of the designated building. His megaphone in hand. Judah began floating upward. Gravity had shifted. SWAT began to feel a sensation of falling, yet they were moving up. Further and further they went until they reached the top of the roof. Suddenly gravity reversed itself and he fell 5 feet above it. His force fields shimmered as he made contact with the building. Judah rolled to alleviate the force of impact and came to rest on one knee. He gave a thumbs up to Slingshot. The young man saluted Judah and went into a free fall below with the grace of a daredevil. Then Judah radioed the team, "I'm on the roof. Beginning negotiations." SWAT stood and looked above directly at the parahuman terrorist about 150 feet away. His tinkertech eye fixated upon her. She did not appear to give off any signs of stress, or anxiety. Even her emotions though faint, were more like excitement. Judah could work with this. SWAT raised the megaphone up to his mask and announced, "You wanted to talk Spindle. Here I am." Judah stretched his arms apart in a gesture of boldness. It was clear that the woman could simply shred him apart with her nasty wires. But she wanted something. His tone was respectful, yet confident. They could converse as equals. Ever so slightly, Judah began to release emotions of warmth and trust in her direction. Consciously she wouldn't even notice it. It was her subconscious Judah was after. His goal was to get Spindle to accept him. And perhaps, if things progressed well, trust him.
