Earth
1700 hours Travis stared up at the monument before him, it was hard to believe how far Earth had come in the short amount of time since they beat back the reapers. This monument honored those who fought, and died. Both in space, and ground. They had sacrificed everything to keep humanity safe, and this had been the site of the decisive battle of Earth. London did suffer heavily in the attack, but now there was not a trace left behind. Even the reaper remains had been dragged off to undisclosed black sites within the solar system. Lest they indoctrinate anyone else. He gave a soft sigh as he came to those lost upon the Glasgow. They had lost so many in that battle, but their crippled ship had survived enough to be deemed repairable, after the battle. Now with some new crew, and some new toys. They would be leaving again, the first through the mass relay into the next system. Two frigates would be escorting them then separating when they made it to the other side, their mission was to scout out as much territory as they could, and help quash any pirate lords that might have taken over other systems in their absence. It would be a rough mission, but Travis knew the Glasgow was ready for it. Almost as if reading his thoughts, his datapad pinged telling him it was time to go, that there was a shuttle waiting for him at the end of the walk. So he walked, his boots making hollow thuds on what had once been the sight of Earth's biggest battle in history, and one of the worse losses of human life in a long time. A small man, in the infinite scheme of what had happened there. Unbeknownst to him fate, or perhaps destiny would have something in store for him, and his crew. At the end of the walkway as a black, and red shuttle painted in the colors of the N7 special forces group, with a old school shark maw painted on it. Something he had let the small detachment of special forces operators paint onto their Kodiak, the doors slid open and he was greeted by one of his bridge officers. "Everyone is accounted for, we're the last ship to enter the hangar Captain. They want us through the relay in 30 minutes." She smiled, and gave her captain her best nod. Travis said nothing, the air still heavy for him from spending that much time around the ghosts of the past. The shuttle ride was short, and once they were secured away. The Glasgow entered cruising speed to link up with the two frigates at the edge of the system already raring to go through the relay. He was barely out of the elevators when his bridge crew were calculating the link up with the relay. "Welcome to the bridge captain. We're going through in t-minus 5." His navigator smiled up at him, a new man to the ship. Travis would have to make a point to ask him his name later. "3...2...1..." There was a lurch as the ship entered the relay, and space around them changed. They were going faster than the speed of light, the system jump should of been a few short minutes. But things changed. The Glasgow did not exit through the other side as planned, the two frigates did. But The Glasgow just vanished. "Alliance Command, this is Stalingrad come in." The captain of one of the escort frigates shouted into his FTL link. "Alliance command reads you Stalingrad go ahead." Came the voice of one of the admirals on the other end. "Sir we lost The Glasgow, she's gone, she's just disappeared off our sensors." "God help us..." They had scouted all over for the Glasgow, even in what little sectors of dark space they knew in the area. Nobody ever found her, perhaps no one ever would.

Unknown Space
1735 hours SET The Glasgow exited into empty space only a brief few minutes later, but the area around them didn't look like their star charts. It was clear that they had either over jumped, or something had gone very wrong. Before he could offer judgment down on his navigator the man spoke. "Sir, I programmed the jump correctly. But this area isn't on any star charts, and there's nothing familiar to identify it as anything within The Milky Way." The navigator said. Travis thought for a moment before speaking. "So you're saying we're not in any known space at all?" "Correct sir." "Sensors, try pinging for any breathable planets out there." The other navigation officer on sensors, nodded before getting to his job. They had been drifting for a few minutes before he spoke again. "Sir, we found two. A planet, and it's habitable moon. Both already have life on them that match thermals for organic life, as well as space craft." "Good set a course." With that the ship was moving again, heading towards it's new destination. When they finally entered the system with the planet Travis got a good view of the sensory readings. The main planet was a marshy, bog planet. Polluted, greasy rain plagued the main planet. The moon seemed to be fairing much better in this scenario, though even still. The surface was covered in an urban sprawl, and both planets showed signs of space faring life judging by the amount of ships that passed them by. As if they didn't exist, until they got into sensor range. They were hailed, and a disgusting slug like creature appeared on their screens, and spoke in a language they did not understand. "I don't understand you." Travis said, trying to see if he could identify the species, but there had been nothing in current logs that had named whatever this species was, at least as far as he knew. The slug like creature held up a fat finger, a universal sign of wait before what appeared to be some sort of droid showed up on the screen, and began to speak English. "The most esteemed Thesuss Of Nar Shaddaa bids you welcome outsiders, but identify yourselves lest you get blasted until not even atoms remain." The droid spoke. It's voice was flat, and devoid of emotion. "I'm Captain Travis Elliot, of the SSV Glasgow. Human systems alliance ship. Do you mind telling us where we are, and what you are?" He asked. There was some talking, as the alien spoke to the droid clearly to translate the message again. "Thesuss has not heard of this Human Systems Alliance, but he wishes to tell you, you are in Hutt space, and you interest him greatly. You may dock, but only as long as you come to him right away." with that the droid ended the communication, and transmitted data to The Glasgow. Oddly enough the alien systems, and theirs matched fairly well enough for them to get their coordinates. After The Glasgow had secured dried dock, they dispatched a shuttle toward the planet. Travis had left Adrian in charge, and taken Sarah, and four other N7 operatives with him. All of them armored up, and armed with the their avenger assault rifles. The shuttle ride was quick, and efficient. They landed, and were greeted by the droid, as well as some more odd looking aliens. These ones weren't the slugs, but looked a lot like a human, and an Asari had a odd hybrid baby that grew head tails. They were also armed with weapons that Travis could not identify. "My master requests that you follow me, to him." The droid said, and with that beckoned the group further into the palace.
