RP: You Too Can Become A Hero! || My Hero Academia RP
Full Name:Watanabe Yuno Hero Name: Spice Dragon Appearance: Yuno is of fairly average weight and height, though he has started to gain some good muscle definition. He has an unassuming and kind-looking face, which is a bit at odds with the persona he wants to build around his hero name. He's almost always smiling slightly, a sort of anti-"resting bitch face". Age: 15 Class: 1-A Quirk: Red Pepper Spray When Yuno eats peppers or other spicy food, he gets the temporary ability to breathe fire. The hotter the pepper, the hotter the fire, and the more he eats, the larger flame he can make, and the further he can blow it. Anyone hit by the fire will also find it contains capsaicin, though with most peppers, less of it than normal pepper spray. Getting it in your eyes or lungs still hurt though, and that can happen even if you avoided the fire, though mostly only if you were just out of reach. It's possible his quirk might let him just do the pepper spray part of his quirk, or at least gain enough skill to stop the flames just before they reach someone, letting just the pepper part (which has slightly longer each), hit his target, but Juno has never really tried, finding the fire part much cooler. Breathing fire, especially hot fire, does damage to his throat, though it does heal over time. Strengths: Can breathe fire, making him good short and mid-range. Weaknesses: He needs to eat very hot peppers to really be a threat, not just a nuisance, and he needs to eat a lot of peppers to get his reach into propper mid-range levels. Has to physically eat peppers, meaning he has to bring a lot to the fight and needs the time to eat them. His quirk also gets temporarily less and less effective as he uses it, taking a few days to recover fully, along with his taste buds. He's bad at eating spicy food. If he doesn't wear goggles, he can easily get his own pepper breath into his eyes. Personality: He often complains, but still puts in his best efforts. He's becoming a hero mostly because he finds heroes really cool, especially Endeavour and Double, and wants to be like them. He does also want to help people, but the cool factor is very much the main driving force. When he makes a blunder, he tends to get over it quite quickly, and he almost never holds a grudge. That's not to say he's an overly positive sort of person, sure he's quite forgivng, both towards himself and others, but his baseline is still closer to grumpy than it is upbeat. He likes kids quite a lot and has considered becoming a children's entertainer, though it's never been much more than "might be fun to try one-day" type of thing. He likes to work out, and despite complaining about homework and tests a fair bit, he does well in school. He hates peppers, or even just raw onions or ginger, as he finds them too spicy and painful to eat, which is a real problem in combination with his quirk. History/Bio: He's a fairly normal teenage boy. It was really only in the last year that Yuno decided to actually try to be a hero. It'd always been a dream of his, but he'd always figured it was not for him. But once he was starting to look into which school to apply for, he kept coming back to UA, and eventually decided to go for it. So in the last year of middle school, he put in much more effort in both his classes and in working out than he previously had. It was also at this point where he started to really train his quirk. A process which he hated, deeply. He's mainly focused on eating many weak peppers, to get larger (and therefore cooler) flames, but has tried to eat some gotter peppers too and really get the temperature going. Before this, he'd only really used his quirk on accident, such as when his freinds pranked him with spicy food, or when eating nacho pizza with jalapenos, the only spicy food he likes (though the only reason he doesn't feel off the jalapenos is that his mother says it's rude, even if they do make you breathe fire, so he wasn't allowed to). His family, even while trying to get him used to spicy food, has stopped using peppers in their regular cooking, instead using horseradish, black pepper (which is not, in fact, a capsicum pepper), ginger and other similar alternatives as firebreathing by the dinner table is quite inconvenient.

Yuno was honestly a bit surprised he passed the test, as he'd made a mess of it. He felt a bit unlucky, having to deal with robots, as metal was very hard to damage with fire, but that was no excuse for the mess he'd made. At first, he'd been doing quite fine, his standard Jalapeño fire breath seemingly able to at least confuse the sensors of the robots, though not actually harm them. He'd been making fairly good time running away, but then he'd spotted a hostage. The smart thing to do would be to just keep running. But would Endeavour just run away? No, Endeavour would deal with it. Granted, Endeavour's quirk seemed much better than his own, but a Quirk was not everything there was to being a hero! So, he'd rushed in without a plan, and quickly found himself cornered by three robots. His previous strategy of just breathing a "smokescreen"(or should he say firescreen?) wouldn't work, since he was both flanked, and had to carry the hostage. Furthermore, his mouth was starting to really hurt, even though he'd only been eating Jalapeños, and his stomach was rumbling threateningly. Luckily, his throat was fairly fine, as Jalapeños didn't hurt it much. But he had to so something, or he'd be forced to abandon the hostage. If he ate the ghost pepper he had with him, he might be able to at least take out one of the robots, maybe even two. Then he could just run from the last one. He'd convinced himself to do it, and had already swallowed the pepper, one of the most painful things he'd ever done, when he changed his mind. It was too risky. So instead, he ran into a deadend alley, and used his super hot breath to cut a small hole in the side of one of the buildings, and dived through the hole, just barely evading an attack from the robots. Once inside, he rushed deeper inside the building, as the robots crashed through the wall, chasing him. His throat really hurt now, his mouth felt like hell on earth, he was sweating and shaking, and his stomach was cramping painfully. Still, he had to save the hostage. By this point, he'd almost forgotten that it was just a test and that the hostage was just a dummy. Since the robots were now on one side of his, he figured his firescreen trick might work again, so he, very reluctantly, swallowed yet another fistful of Jalapeños, and breathed out a wide wave of fire, even hitting the robots, though doing no damage, then he opened the door leading outside, but dashes round the corner, deeper inside the building, as he stopped spitting fire. Luckily, just according to the plan,, the robot's sensors couldn't track him through the fire, and the basic logic they had for such situations bought his bluff and rushed back outside. Yuno had planned to just hide it out now, but his fire breath had set fire the building, so he was forced to leave after a short while, luckily, there were no robots just outside, and he managed to find a hiding spot. His body had been shaking badly by then, and he'd sat down the hostage, and slid down against the wall himself, after a few seconds, he vomited, the chilli hurting almost as much on the way out as it had on the way in. He'd chocked back tears and straightened himself. He'd made a mess, setting fire to a building, and the fire might even spread. But at least he'd saved the hostage. That's when he looked over the hostage dummy and noticed that it had several scorch marks. He'd even botched saving the hostage. He'd been taken to see recovery girl after the test, as he'd seemed rather beat up, but she'd decided that he'd recover fine on his own, though she'd given him some pills and a glass of milk to help settle his stomach. He'd been absolutely sure he'd failed. But by seemingly sheer luck, he'd managed to scrape by. He'd apparently gotten a bunch of bonus points for prioritizing the hostage, despite how poor a job he'd done of it, allowing him to pass, albeit with the lowest score in the class. So it was with mixed feelings he entered the school grounds on the first day. Was he really cut out for this, after all?

Name: Sumiko Quirk name: Quad Core Sumiko's quirk is twofold, the first part is that she can relatively easily connect herself to technology, and meaningfully interact with it. She does need surgery to do so, but her nerves easily connect to tech, and her body does not reject prosthetics. She's used this to install various pieces of tech directly onto her body, most notably, two robot arms on her back, replacements for her two arms, which she lost in a car accident when she was 15, a usb port like plug behind her right ear which she uses to connect to and control her headset and also allowing her to send sound messages through it and a voice synthesiser, a plug by her left ear, which she can use to receive video input, and a universal plug by the sockets for her left arm. She uses the universal socket mostly to connect with tech like computers, though it doesn't let her do anything more than simulate keyboard and mouse input. It does make such inputs much faster for her though. The second part of her quirk, is that her mind works four times in parallel, sort of like a computer, this allows her to work on up to four tasks at once, with the same ease and skill as a normal person fully dedicating themselves to just that thing. She can also work on the same problem four times faster than normal people, either by breaking it up into separate tasks, or by working at it from multiple angles at once. She can be using two of her arms to assemble one of her creations, her universal connector to write an essay, or documentation for the creation her arms are assembling, talking to someone using her headset, while acting like a normal human, frx by playing an online game and chatting with the people she's playing with., all at the same time. All four of her "minds" are fully aware of each other, so if one figures out a part of a problem, the three others can instantly make use of that information. She also seems to have a strong knack for both programming, robotics, and bio-mechanical engineering, but whether this is an inherent part of her quirk, or just a by product of being able to think fast and study multiple subjects at once is unclear. the picture I drew inspiration from:
