"Look, guys, if there was any pampering done then I was left out of it, just saying." Takeshi raised his hands defensively, giving a shake of his head. "My father had all the luxuries you could dream of, sure, and his favorite warriors probably did too. I didn't see anything much better than what you had." Really for his status as a "Prince" he'd more or less lived as a common soldier. His personal room had been fairly nice, he'd admit, but even with what was there it had all been just the essentials, just of higher quality. Takeshi had eaten with the rest, trained with the rest, and went on missions just as any other soldier would. Whereas Elites were sent with entire detachments of troops on missions and made to oversee them he only had a squad given to him, presumably to keep him in check. Well a lot of good that had done, they'd turned coat just as quickly as he had. Nah, commodities and luxuries couldn't be the reason Elites stayed loyal to the king, albeit they did get marginally better treatment from him personally than the rest. They just lived long enough to be given a higher position and were wise enough not to try and cross Yamate. For all their power, Takeshi mused, even the Elite Saiyans were serving out of fear. Collectively though he had to wonder if they'd be able to take the king down. Just what was the full extent of his father's power anyways? "Wha... It was a figure of speech!" Takeshi snapped, looking back at Kai and crossing his arms. "Believe me, I don't expect to be on their invite list for parties, and I wouldn't want to go to one anyways," he continued, shaking his head before grimacing. "Ever been in a room full of Elites not on a mission? They're loud, obnoxious, crude, and they drink... A lot. Nope, I don't want any of that." Kabocha rolled his eyes at Choi's eccentric attitude, even if he was sharing in his partner's excitement. Really this thing was a flying fortress, taking over something of this magnitude would see them set for quite a long while. People could live on this thing for goodness sake, and apart from staring at bleached white walls all day it really wouldn't be a bad place to call home. Electric lights didn't beat feeling the sun, or suns, beating down on you though. Sooner or later they'd want to find a planet to call home once more and settle down there, somewhere that felt like a proper place to settle. Until they decided where that planet was this would definitely make due. Once they had finally commandeered it and gotten on there way he'd likely be right there with Choi, scouring the vessel for anything that they can use, for entertainment or otherwise. "Nah... Nothing yet..." Kabocha said, frowning as he shook his head. "Can't be the ship anymore, we're inside, it doesn't block Ki from being picked up here. Could something else be blocking it then?" Interference wasn't really something they encountered all too often, with Kaesstra being only one exception. That had been due to the strange energy being blasted into the sky, it masked Ki in most places, it had been a miracle they'd tracked down Yumi at all. Nothing like that should be onboard the ship, there was no reason to have something that would do it. "I'm starting to get a funny feeling guys..." Takeshi couldn't pick up anything either as much as he tried to. The only energies he sensed were those of his friends, nothing else beyond that. If the entire crew really was inside the space station then why was everything on the ship still left on? It was beginning to seem awfully suspicious onboard this vessel, something was definitely amiss and Kabocha rather quickly pointed it out. What in the world could possibly make an entire crew vanish from a Saiyan warship though? Maybe they hadn't even vanished, not in the literal sense. It could be very possible too that they had just up and abandoned their ship, but even then that just served to confuse Takeshi even more. Wracking his brain for possible explanations he began to come to a stop as they finally reached the bridge, a large semi-circular red door separating the main corridor from the control room. It was locked, of course, as indicated by the red hue on the keypad on the wall. "Damn it... Anyone got the combination?" Takeshi asked, looking back at his squad hopefully. "I know how to fight, you know," Yumi pouted, crossing her arms like a child. Sighing softly then she gave Viral a smile, moving her hands onto her hips. "But fine, I'll let you handle it. Someone's got to stay back and keep the parents in line anyways." She hardly sounded enthusiastic about that task, but it had to be done. The last thing they needed was one of the older Saiyans wandering off and getting into trouble. It sounded like the Beastman had his own tasks to worry about anyways, no use in keeping him from those. Rather halfhearted in her excitement Yumi went into the main section of their craft, looking between the parents and clapping her hands to rouse their attention. "Come on everyone, we're getting out of here! So up and at them!" she shouted, watching Kabocha's father jump, roused from a nap. Walking to the wall she slammed down a button, opening up the rear hatch so that everyone could climb out. Smiling over at Shu and T'charrl she gave a small thumbs up. "You two go play or something, we'll let you know if we need anything, fair?" "Good, thank you Viral. The closer I can get to the mainframe the quicker I can get this ship under our control." Vegeta replied. "I'll come with you, to a certain point, then we can split up. I'm not getting a whole lot done up here really." The most he had managed to access as far as systems went was the hangar and the adjacent corridor, which was only about 20 meters long. It was just a service tunnel, and the only thing he could get a hold of there were fire extinguishers and the lights, not exactly full control. Making it a fair point to close down the panel he had been working with he added a little something of his own to it, a binary password to deny anyone else access. Might as well put the safety measures in now. After that he walked right on out of the control room, taking his time to come down the stairs to meet Viral. His hand went back up to his scouter again, watching as Yumi led the parents out of the craft. "Yumi? Viral and I are going to head out and look for other panels, think you'll be okay here in the mean time?" "Seriously, you've got to ask?" Yumi replied, shouting across the room at Vegeta rather than use her scouter. Scowling at her friend she gestured to the parents, giving Vegeta a curious look. "Nothing I can't handle, computer geek. Go ahead and do your thing, I'll babysit in these folks. Just try not ejecting us into space accidentally." Vegeta smiled meekly, knowing he had inadvertently insulted Yumi by asking that question. "Yeah... Uh... I'll be sure not to do that," he mumbled, embarrassed by getting snapped at like that.
