[@Odin] And haha, I might just do that! quietly nabs that picture I really can't wait to how you all start trading, or even just react to other people! But at the same time I'm fairly certain i said that it was the eastern island which had the fertile farmland and forests, not the west one. Still, both of the islands are roughly the same, which is one of the many reasons I choose this particular map over a more topologically or perhaps more biodiverse one. I did get a pretty fun one that was just one big island with mountain range and a lot of different biomes, which I might as well show here. Edit: to answer your question, teh first IC post for everyone should be a general IC-wise introduction of your race. Describe where they live, what they are doing now that they have this newfound knowledge of self (it's a bit more of a magical event than slow-ass and boring natural evolution :lol) and how they deal with this. It shouldn't be like the biblical adam and eve finding themselves out of eden and scrambling to get clothes or anything, but the feeling of breaking out of that base animalistic cycle. I want to know what everyone is up to and get some interaction between their characters, especially if they don't have a language to begin with. For you specifically, I like the font you use a lot, but let's keep back on writing for a bit, it's kind of a big deal as far as civilizations go haha

Who knows, amybe if you people go exploring and colonizing you might bump into one of this, or something else. Like I said, it's a very big world you all live in, so I plan on filling it with interesting stuff for you to play with and react to. But for now, the island yu are on is absolutely perfect for our purposes. [@Ascendant] I would argue that being about 7 inches tall is a pretty major counterbalance for living forever :lol As for DX's race, well, they aren't immortal from what I'm reading, but I already said my opinion about that. I think that things which fit thematically together even if they seem OP are far more valuable to an RP if the player shows self restraint, than if we cropped those out. Especially since right now, nobody knows any of the other races, so there is nobody to defeat haha On that note, [@DX3214], I should elaborate now that I'm at my PC. I like the idea of either one of the transformations, but I feel like it thematically makes no sense for them to transform into something that doesn't exist on it's own on the isles. And since you don't know anyone else, it's kind of hard to justify becoming any other race. But shapeshifting as it is, it's not a exactly a bad idea. If you know anything about druids from DnD, I can iamgine your race as such. Some celestial beings who have lost their memories and knowledge, and back at square one they try to fit into this alien world (at least to them) by turning into whatever they find. Hell, I'll do you one better check out the Shapeshifter lore of DnD. They are pretty much exactly the same, mysterious magical beings who try to fit in by turning into other things. I feel that would make for a far more interesting and varied species. But that's just my own opinion. I'm trying to be the one who doesn't just say "I don't think that's good" and then gives no constructive opinion haha Edit 2: if you are a map nerd like I am you might have already noticed the little ruler at the bottom. Wellp, try and disregard that while I update the maps I'm using and but a better one there. While it's helpful, it also really skews the distances and area sizes we have here. For all aspects and purposes, think of the ruler as if it was half the size (aka, the end is 300 miles and not 600), this way yoou can get a better idea of what is what. In this case the base point was Tal's island, which according to the old measurement was roughtly the size of my country (hungary), whereas now it's a much more like the side of a similiar real life island, Sicily. Which what I had mind. As for the obvious topographical limitations of an SVG editor, I will say that any color you can see has has hills and lowlands that can range +/- 1 color in either direction. And if you want to add a mountain peak, then feel free, especially for islands which might be created by volcanoes. I shall be doing my best to tinker the original map to add some more variety to it ^^
