Anything that has come in direct physical contact with Piper becomes explosive. Smaller objects explode instantly, though the bigger the object, the longer it will take before the explosion occurs. While Piper isn’t immune to the damage done by her explosions, she is able to recover from any physical damage done to her due to her regenerative abilities.

[b]Background:[/b] 

Despite being a bit of a troublemaker, Piper’s childhood was mostly rather uneventful. She grew up in a friendly, loving household with no large issues or traumas. While she would have some run ins with the local police, it was never about anything with lot of importance. 

As the war against the Knull went on, the government would be working on improved human beings, weapons to fight the Knull by injecting humans with the dna of extra terrestials that were known to have abilities that the government deemed useful.

Piper would become of the humans that was injected with alien dna, in the hopes that it would give her body the ability to regenerate itself. While many other subjects failed to let their body adapt to the alien dna, Piper survived the process and was the closest they would get to the desired results.

However despite the fact that she lived, her body kept on resisting the alien dna, causing her to become physically ill. Soon it would turn out that her ailment was easily cured upon physical contact, as this would give her body the chance to release the thing that caused it harm. Unfortunately, this release of dangerous particles causes whatever comes in physical contact with Piper to explode immediately, if not within a short period of time.

With this ability and the need to release the particles every so often, Piper would prove to be an useful warrior against the Knull and has taken part in several battles. Now that the world is at peace again, Piper has taken up the responsibility to protect her country of birth. That is, when she is not being a minor bother to the law enforcers herself.
				
[b]Psychological Analysis:[/b] Piper has shown to be light hearted and cheerful, though her ability to recover from any physical wound causes her to be quite reckless at times. 

While her heart is in the right place, Piper is also known to have run ins with law enforcement due to misbehaviour that she labels as “just having fun”. This mainly includes her causing minor explosions with no harmed individuals. This proves that she has a tendency to not take rules too serious.

While causing things to explode every so often is needed for Piper to remain in a healthy condition, she does seem to take some joy out of this required task. 

Although Piper isn’t known to have any mental illnesses, she does seem to prevent being alone with her thoughts for long if at all possible.
