With his almost glowing blue eyes, the large glasses and the short blonde hair, Leo has an inviting and friendly impression on most people who speak to him for the first time. Being 5'8 tall and having a rather average physique, he would blend right in with most people as there wasn't anything particularly outstanding about his physical appearance. He seems to be healthy and keep his body in check- that is the extent of noticeable features of his body. 

As for his clothing he usually wears rather bland, simple clothes. Whether it be a black hoodie with nothing printed on it, a simple blue jacket or any kind of colored shirt; His clothes definitely haven't been chosen to stand out in a crowd. While he does own some more nerdy, fanboy-ish t-shirts, he would never wear them outside of his own privacy.


   [b]Personality:[/b]
Being usually the quiet kid in class, Leo prefers to keep to himself if possible. He offer sa warm friendliness to those who wish to speak to him, but experiencing anything that has more depth than superficial politeness does require some work with him, especially if one wishes to become Leo's friend. This might not exactly be easy, considering that he prefers studying by himself or training with his sister over doing anything social with other people. He isn't opposed to "hanging out", but he just sees more fun and a time better spent in doing things that would forward himself, like improving his magic or furthering knowledge about his passions.

In his own mind Leo knows how to stand up for himself although realistically, he does not do so. There'll be the rare moment when he does do so, however most of the time he is too timid when confronted and it is usually his sister who stands up for him instead. However, despite all of this, he is not socially awkward. It is not that he doesn't know how to interact with other people, he usually does so rather well often being described as warm, polite and welcoming, Leo just doesn't enjoy social interactions as much.

Due to his studying Leo has become rather smart. Granted, it is a requirement for the different applications for his magic that his sister and he had thought of prior while theorycrafting.

  [b]Brief History:[/b] 
Leo Winterberg was the younger one of a pair of twins born into the Winterberg family 16 years ago right alongside his sister Lea. Even at an early age the twins would get along quite well for siblings, often playing together on the property owned by the Winterberg family. This would actually be the case for quite a while in their life since Leo always had problems making friends in school and elsewhere given his rather closed off and quiet personality which was only really able to flourish when at home. Besides, once he had found his affinity for studying, reading and the likes there was hardly ever any reason to go outside in his freetime. The only one who was able to get him out occasionally was Lea who insisted on training with him as she had aspired to become a powerful mage already rather early in her life. 
However, Lea was always better at... sports than Leo was. Despite his best efforts, she would always outrun him, always do more pushups than him and he would always lose in playful fighting. Leo didn't mind as everytime they played or trained or did anything like that his sister would be happy and she would smile which was all he needed to enjoy the moment. After all, they were the bestest of friends all their life. 
Since Leo adored studying and learning so much he was able to help out Lea with her grades in exchange. It became a healthy give and take, one which both enjoyed.

Eventually, it was his sister's decision to join an academy. Due to her dreams and goals in life, Lea wanted to go there whatever it took and she wanted Leo to come along. Even if this wasn't exactly Leo's lifelong goal, as his goals were to conduct scientific research in the long run, Lea still managed to convince Leo to join her. After all, how could he say no to his dear sister? Furthermore, the mastering of his own magic would further his own interests as well considering the insane usefulness of magic. Their parents, while not being powerful mages themselves, supported their children's goals regardless.
Thus, both siblings decided to apply for the The Marchand School of Sorcery, wanting to start their own new adventure together, as they had always done before.
