They are also the only unit with a hovertank company. In addition, Brimstone soldiers have access to heavy weaponry and standardized uniform. Many beings in this battalion are Kaleesh warriors. Colonel Stormcaller himself is the commander.
[*][b]Sunburst Battalion[/b] (~500 beings): The reserve unit, troops in this battalion are often fresh recruits and not familiar with frontline combat. A typical recruit is given a week of holovid and sim-pod instructions before inducted into a squad, and some have to buy their own gear. In battle, Sunburst is normally deployed to guard the Brimstone's flank. Major Thiena Thel is the battalion commander.
[*][b]Prisma Battalion[/b] (~500 beings): This is the Scarlet Moons' specialist unit. Communication, engineering, intelligence and logistics are their main tasks. Its members have little combat experience, but have in-demand technical skills. Most Humans are assigned to this unit, as non-Human members do not trust them in combat. Major Yunus Dimet, a human (to his subordinate's hatred), is the commander.

[*][i][b]Palpatine's Bane[/b][/i] ([url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Free_Virgillia-class_Bunkerbuster]Free Virgillia-class bunkerbuster[/url] prototype): Captured from a Rebel shipyard right before the Battle of Yavin, this experimental starship brings heavy firepower against capital ships and stationary targets. Two Y-wings are attached to this ship. Also known as [i]Palp-B[/i].

It is modified for organic personnel instead of its original droid complements, and serves as the mobile base of Prisma Battalion. It carries four [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Sheathipede-class_transport_shuttle]Sheathipede shuttles[/url].

It carries two [url=https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Flarestar-class_attack_shuttle]Weequay saucer crafts[/url] and two Y-wings.
