Besides the fact that she seemed to go above and beyond to keep Dark Shadow from falling apart, you could find the most normalcy in Cleo. From what Lex could tell, the woman puts in way more than she gets back. Her dedication was admirable to him.

Lex grabbed the box of pizza and flipped it open to find a pizza with pepperoni scattered across it. His favorite. Even if it had been something else, complaining about pizza toppings in front of Cleo was a bad move.

He shook his head in disapproval and set the pizza box down. It's either that, or Aloysius needs to pay you more."[/color] He smirked again as he took his second bite of his pizza slice. Lex knew how hard Cleo worked for Dark Shadow and he wanted to show that he appreciated what she did for the group, even if it was accompanied with a few bad jokes.
