The Knight stood inside a large tent watching as his attendants moved back and fourth through the bodies and men laid on hastily made cots. The battle was hard fought, but it was worth every inch to retake the island from the men who reigned over the sovereign land o the Almighty. In the battle hard fought his superior the previous infirmarer had perished upon the ship he was aboard and now it was given to the well aged man standing there making sure the treatments were going well, and those who needed to go into surgery got what the needed. Friend and foe was in the tent, and he would give them the choice to redeem themselves in the eyes of the cross before he decided their fate. "Brother, we have two men who refuse the word of god, what shall we do with them?" A younger Infirmarian asked. "Put them to the cells as was the order, those who wish to convert may and will be helped by our saving grace, those who do not will be sent to the hell they have brought our brothers." Jean-Luc said as he sighed deeply, "do make it easier for them, for their punishment in the afterlife will be worse then anything we can do..." The younger brother moved away to attend and give the word to those who had asked him to be their emissary. Jean-Luc sighed deeply, he had damned several men he knew it, but it was all in the right of god. He took a deep breath once more, was he forsaking himself and those in this hospital to hell. It was a sin to kill another man, but it was all for gods will right, this war, all of these wars and crusades. He thought to all of those who were fighting in that day, and smiled as he saw his relief come in, and he turned and went through the portal of the tent, leaving to find himself a place to sleep, and rest for as long as he could before he was called upon for more work. He saw bodies littered, and being moved into piles. Armor and weapons going to their respective piles as well, he looked to his sword on his side and sighed deeply at what he had to do that day. From storming a beach to helping cut men's arms and legs off to try and save them. Jean-Luc woke early to the sounds of waves crashing against rock faces outside the harbor, he sighed, and began reading the bible. Thankfully, he was taught to read and right, and to study the ways of the body and the four fluids of the body. "May god save us all..." he said remembering the following day, and the fighting that was still continuing on the current siege of the isle he and his fellow brothers were upon. "And let us hope he is merciful on us, so we may not be sent to the depths of the dark one's realm." ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ War Torn ⋆ Humbled ⋆ Pious ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Background Occupation Frère-Chevalier Infirmarer of the Knights Hospitaller Living Immediate Family Members: Unknown Dead Immediate Family Members: Unknown Current Companions: NA Current and Past Lover(s): Marien Forgeron Are you a loner or with a group?
